Get over yourself, your highness...

I really hate when people deem another person's problems as irrelevant because they compare that person's issues to their own and decide that they have it worse so the other person has no right to vent or complain.

Fuck off.

Seriously.

It's stupid and petty to act like some one's issues aren't relevant or important because you think yours are worse. Of curse you think yours are worse, you're the one having to deal with them.  Even if they are worse, that still doesn't make it okay for you to belittle their issues and the way they feel about them.

Guess what? By your own logic, you have no room to complain either because there will always be someone out there with worse problems in a worse place in life than you are. There are people in the world starving and dying from no food. People living without electricity. Homeless people. People who would think themselves lucky if they had some clean water to drink. Even without going to those extremes, there are still those out there that have it worse than you do. So by your own way of thinking, your problems aren't that bad and you should be happy it's not worse than it could be, right? Right.

I don't understand what people get out of that. I don't see how having the worse problems could make anyone feel superior. Maybe if you're playing a game to get sympathy points then okay but not many feel sorry for the asshole that just essentially told them to shake it off because they have it worse.

Everyone has issues, problems, trouble in life, some type of adversity they end up faced with sooner or later, etc. Dealing with something you perceive to be harder doesn't make you any smarter, superior, wiser or overall better than anyone else.

Fuck You Friday

I haven't done a Fuck You Friday post in quite a while. It's about time for a new one, I say.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave a little of something in a container, box, etc and then put it back. I HATE THAT. It's annoying as hell to me. Fuck. You.

Here are some examples courtesy of things put back into our refrigerator with very little left in there.

This is a container of orange juice that was put back with that much juice left in there.

That's tea in the pitcher that was put back with that amount in there. I had to get level with the pitcher to get the picture because when I wasn't level, you couldn't tell there was any liquid left in the pitcher, lol.

If you're going to leave so little in there, why not just finish it? I don't get it. I hate when I open a cereal box and there's a handful of cereal left in there. Or better yet, a few pieces of cereal and a bunch of that dusty crap in the bottom. I could go on and on with examples but that would be pointless since y'all know what I'm saying.

While we're on the subject, another thing that really irks me? I hate when people don't close bags, boxes, etc properly. You took the time to open it, take the time to close it properly. It's not that freaking difficult. Fuck you, too.

I know these are relatively useless things to get annoyed over but seriously, it pisses me off. Especially the leaving the packages open thing. Stuff goes stale that way and not a lot of foods are still good after they're stale.

Happy Friday!

Comments, anyone?

I'm so happy without you...

It's time for Fuck You Friday! Know what I'm saying fuck you to today?

Backseat drivers.

I can't stand that.

Especially when you're in a city the backseat driver has never even been in before and they STILL think they can direct you every place you need to go. Even though they couldn't tell you where anything is there, they still want to go running their jaws off like an idiot.

I can't stand the backseat driver that chimes in half the car ride with directions and comments about how you should be driving or turn here or blah blah blah but when they do it almost constantly every minute or two? Oh my gosh! Especially when you can't insult them or tell them to zip it enough times to get them to stop it because insulting them and/or telling them to shut their know it all fucking mouth does nothing because they just don't care.

Pretending to ignore them works okay though. If they're not one to do it constantly but just here and there, I can handle that.

Someone who does it continually and doesn't shut up though? Being a sarcastic little ass makes me feel a little better some times too. Like when they warn you to get out of a lane because you some how might not see that big ass FedEx/UPS truck parked in the street or telling you to pick another street because hey, you can't go back down a one way street in the opposite direction. Then a smart ass comment to follow those necessary tips might shut them up for a couple minutes. Maybe.

Oh and no, I've never been a driver having to deal with a backseat driver. Only an annoyed passenger wishing the driver would say shut the hell up since the backseat driver doesn't listen to other passengers. Even when they're threatening maiming and death.

Even when I want to go nuts on the backseat driver that constantly feels the need to chime in every few minutes with a new direction or some other notion, if the actual driver is ignoring them and asks me to just bear with it and try to tune them out, I'll be nice. Actually, I'll just be respectful to the driver and skip out on finding some object in the car to smash over the mouthy little passenger's head.

It's the light in the night that shines so bright...

Sometimes, I really can't stand some of the girls I work with. They really, really piss me off.

At work Thursday night, a group of people came in. There were seven of them. Five of them were mentally handicapped and the other two seemed to be their care takers. They were bringing the five out for a treat. We have some kick ass dessert items and that's what they came for. Upon seeing them coming, one of my co-workers said, "Aww look, they let them out on a little field trip!" Like they're some little mutants that can only come out and play once in a while.

I told her that was a fucked up thing to say. She just shrugged and laughed. Another girl told her that was terrible but laughed right along too because after all, it was funny.

I ended up going and taking their order and had some difficulty because they couldn't decide what they wanted and they weren't sure what each thing was entirely. With a little explaining and a little confusion and frustration, I got it taken care of. Then I went back to my post and got to drink making and all that jazz.

The girl who further had to wait on them and carry their desserts out didn't want to. She even begged another girl to do it for her because she didn't want to. She said she didn't want to have to deal with doing separate checks. Which isn't hard at all actually. The other girl was busy though and wouldn't do it for her. So she got pissed off, groaned about it and then did it. Then she ended up griping about it because she had to "deal with those people" and "ugh it was so frustrating" because "they didn't understand anything!" Which is just an exaggeration. They required a bit more help than most customers do but so what?

After they left, the bitch who waited on them was going on about how she thinks one had down syndrome and some nonsense. Then she said something to the effect of, "I know they can't help the way they are but ugh I just don't like having to deal with those kinds of people. It's so annoying for us people who don't want to deal with stuff like that."

To which my only reply was, "That's fucked up. They didn't ask to be where they are and they don't deserve to be treated like shit because of it. Sorry but we can't all be perfect princess."

Which got me a death insinuating glare but she was smart enough not to say anything back. Sadly, I was hop
ing she would. I was ready to go off on her but not ready to make a scene in the middle of my job to do so. I might have punched her bony ass or said something particularly harsh and I really need my job. I worry about losing it over my temper at times so I try hard to keep it in check, even when I do get pissed off. I think I got the point across enough with what I did say and she didn't speak to me for the rest of her shift. Which is fine. I don't like that bitchy little brat anyway.

I was a bit annoyed for a few minutes then let it go. Then around closing time, I started thinking about it again and ended up feeling annoyed. I just don't understand people. Really. I don't. Then I felt sad. Sad that people who are different have to deal with ridicule and being treated poorly probably too often by ridiculous people like my co-workers.

And no, I don't feel sorry for people because they're deaf, mentally handicapped, blind, missing a leg, in a wheel chair, etc. I don't feel sorry for that group of people because they're mentally handicapped. What I feel sorry for is that they have to deal with people treating them like shit just because of a difference they can't control. Just because that difference might make them uncomfortable. I feel sorry because a lot of times with people who have a handicap, I get told "Don't worry about it, I'm/They're/We're used to it" because that's not something they should have to get used to. I don't treat them especially different because there is something "wrong" with them because there isn't something wrong with them. Maybe I am the one who is wrong. I think you should treat everyone like they're human, not like they're some mutant spawn freak.

*Ahem*

Happy Friday Y'all.
Have a good weekend.

It hurts to be alone, in the cell I call my home...

I haven't done a Fuck You Friday post in a while and I feel like bitching about something so here we go.

You know something that seriously pisses me off? I have this neighbor, I will be calling her Cunt from now on if I write about her. She has a little kiddo, he's 5 or at the most, 6. I hate the way she talks to him. He rarely gets to come outside. If she comes outside and he follows, you know what me, everyone in my place and the rest of the neighborhood hears?

"GET YOUR FUCKING ASS BACK IN THE HOUSE! DID I TELL YOUR STUPID ASS YOU COULD COME OUT HERE? GET THE FUCK BACK INSIDE DUMB ASS!"

To a fucking 5 or 6 year old? Come on bitch. You can hear her in the mornings and early in the afternoon, screaming at her kids. Cussing them a blue streak. Calling them names. Screaming at them in a way that you shouldn't talk to anyone, let alone your young children. It's not my business how anyone raises their kids, I know. I wouldn't even know it went on if she didn't do it outside. Every fucking day. It pisses me off.

Really, I'd love to grab a branch off of a tree and swing it at her head like a baseball bat. I'd love to get in her face. I've been outside, either smoking or on my cell phone, a time or three when she's been out there ranting, cussing, screaming and name calling. I've stood there glaring at her and she's seen me. She stared me down the first time I was out there after she had pulled that shit and y'all have no idea how bad I was hoping she would say something to me as she stared me down. That would have been invitation enough for me to say something.

I don't care what kind of shit she has going on in her life. I wouldn't have a clue. All I know is she seems to be home all day and she likes to yell, cuss, call names and kick inanimate objects. I don't care what kind of problems she has in her life. I don't care if her life sucks. I don't care if she's had 23 pet cats die in the last year. I don't give a shit if the reason she's home all day is because she lost a job. I don't fucking care what her situation is. It doesn't give her an excuse to take anything out on a little kid. What can a 5 or 6 year old kid do against that? Nothing. It's not good to grow up and see that. It's bad for a child to grow up thinking that's how everyone acts. It's bad for a child to grow up being called a dumb ass, worthless, stupid, shithead and any and every other negative thing you can come up with like that.

I have a friend who has almost nothing to do with his mother now that he's older. He's 24 and hasn't seen his mom since he was 19 and moved out. She used to scream at him, call him vile names. She was verbally abusive and physically abusive. I will never forget the time I was at his house and she came in from work, pissed from the day she had and threw a glass at him. Then called him a cocksucker because he hadn't taken the trash out yet. Then went on to call him more names and bitch about how worthless he was. It wasn't the trash that was the issue. He was just what she took things out on and the trash was the excuse for her to go off on him. I always felt bad for him and rarely went over there. I never understood how he could just take it but he always said he was afraid it would be worse if he said or did anything. She often threw glasses, plates, mugs, remote controls and other objects she could grab and throw quickly when she was yelling at him, blowing off steam. She called him cocksucker, shithead, worthless, piece of shit, pathetic, waste of flesh and tons of other things. Now he's older and had some therapy and realizes he never did anything wrong to deserve anything she said and did to him. Now she wonders why he doesn't want anything to do with her. He hasn't seen her in 5 years and he only talks to her once a month. I remember when he was 21, he wanted to talk to her about the way she had treated him. She had laughed at him and told him to get over, she could have been worse. She told him to be happy that she hadn't been worse, to be happy that he didn't have it as bad as other kids did. So, he doesn't want to be around her now.

Why, as a parent, would you do that to your child? I don't understand parents who do that. Why would you even accept the responsibility of raising another life if you're just going to treat that life like shit? I don't understand why anyone would verbally or physically abuse a child. I really don't.

*Sigh* I don't expect anyone to explain this and make it make sense. Even if you can explain the reasons why people do these things (resentment, bitterness, anger and on and on...) I'm still not going to understand how they could take it out on a child. Though feel free to comment and let me know what you've got to say. I always love hearing opinions and insight from others.

Have a great weekend y'all.

It just takes some time...

I'm not really a flowers girl. There are a couple I like though.

Irises.
Lilies.

That's it. No roses for me. I think they're ugly little things honestly.

I don't care much for flowers as it is because I have horrid allergies and I rarely am able to smell them anyway. It's more the act and the affection behind it that I appreciate more than the actual flowers. My boyfriend sent me flowers though. He enjoys sending them to me and it makes me happy that he enjoys it, I think it's dorky but cute. So, I got a box from Pro Flowers. My favorite stargazer lilies with blue irises. Awwww. So I got a rockin' Nintendo DS Lite and some pretty flowers from my adoring boyfriend. Isn't he the sweetest?

BB picked me to be featured for her Beautiful People #2. There are I think 6 or maybe 7 other lovely people featured also. So you should go check that out once you're done here. ;)

My Stars play tonight against Vancouver! I'll be at work during the game but.... Yay DVR! =) GO STARS!

There's a deaf guy that comes up to my job for drinks. Sometimes for drinks and food. Sometimes drinks and dessert. He comes once a week. He's around 20 to 23 I think. I'm not sure and I'm just guessing from how he looks. I'd put him in my age range though. He's deaf but he's absolutely one of the sweetest people I've met. To order, he either writes every detail out on the paper or he points to the menu to the exact things he wants to get. When it comes time to pay, I just show him the receipt and point to the total. He usually nods and then pays. Any conversation comes only by writing it out on paper. He always writes out please and thank you. I found out what the signing for "have a good night means" from him and he always does that too. He's a sweet guy and I really enjoy getting to wait on him. Once a month or there about, he comes in with 3 other guys who are all also deaf. They all act exactly as he does when it comes to ordering, paying and conversing anything they need from me. They can't speak but still, in the way they communicate, they are all polite and nice.

What pisses me off about this guy and his friends? Yeah, there's something that pisses me off. It has everything to do with them but yet, it has nothing to do with them in a way. My co-workers are fucking ridiculous assholes. They see the guys come up and they argue about who "has to deal with them" and thus it begins. A chorus of "you do it" and "I'm not dealing with that" and "I don't want to have to go through that much trouble just to serve a customer" and other various ridiculous lines rise up and they argue amongst themselves about it. It pisses me the fuck off so bad.

Those guys can't help that they're deaf. They didn't ask for it. They didn't do a damn thing at all, it just is what it is. They do require more attention than other customers but who cares? They're less problematic than some of the ones who speak but can't order. The ones who order a burger and then eat half of it, then complain because it has pickles and oh they hate pickles. They didn't notice until they ate half the burger and now they want a new one or want their portion of the meal for free. Those people are a bigger pain in the ass then these four deaf guys are. Those people can be less of a pain in the ass but choose not to. The deaf guys are some of the easiest customers ever. They always make sure to be very clear in what they want and I've yet to have a single problem come from one of them. So what that they require a special way to get their order? So what that they need a little help? It's no big fucking deal. To hear the people I work with argue over it pisses me off.

About a month ago, I was working a Monday night and the deaf guy was up there. Two girls and a guy were arguing about who would handle him. I listened as they argued over who would have to do it because none of them did. They were all refusing. I was taken back by their ignorance. I said as much when I told them they were "fucking stupid assholes" as I went to grab a pen and paper so I could help the deaf guy. I went back and my co-workers asked me what my deal was. I went off on them telling them how incredibly ridiculous, ignorant and pathetic they were being. Not that it mattered. They cared more about the fact that I'd called them stupid assholes more than anything else. Which pissed me off more. I worked the next two hours of my shift that night not speaking to those co-workers because I was so pissed off at the reminder of how pathetic people can be over things like that.

Aside from me, one guy is willing to always help them and does so when I'm not there or can't get to them. I'm sure one other girl would too but she's never had to since she always works when I work and I always try to get to them as soon as they let it be known they're ready. Out of all the employees we have, it's ridiculous that only a few are willing to help those guys just because of them being deaf. It's ridiculous and pathetic in my opinion. I'd rather deal with them all night long over some of the rude, annoying assholes that I have to deal with instead.

Fuck You to those co-workers and to anyone else out there who would be so pathetic as to ignore, make fun of or mistreat someone in any way solely because of a difference they have no control over. How fucking wonderful it must be to be so damn perfect.

Happy Friday!!!!!
Have a Great Weekend Y'all!
