Happy Birthday & a 3.5 million dollar Flintstone's inspired house...

Before I get to the actual post, today is my awesome boyfriend's 27th birthday! Yes, his birthday is exactly 2 weeks after mine. Which also makes him the first guy I've dated that's been younger than me, even if it is only by 14 days. He jokes that dating older guys is clearly where I had been going wrong. Though really, he's always been pretty mature for his age and people always think I'm younger anyway, haha. I'm making him an awesome dinner and one of his favorite cakes for his birthday cake. Then he'll be in bed by 10 PM since he gets up for work at 4 AM Tuesday through Saturday. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one person who knows what a weird mess I am and loves me anyway because he's just as weird. <3

Now, on to the Flintstone's house!

A friend of mine that works in design sent me a picture of a Flintstone's inspired house yesterday. It looked awesome but she found the image on Tumblr so I decided to use Google to see if I could track down such a unique house.

Turns out, that was the easiest search ever. The first link Google showed was of the house in question. It also happened to have plenty of photos and explained that the house belongs to the late Dick Clark.

I loved watching The Flintstone's cartoon as a little kid so of course I find this house to be completely badass. Plus, who else has anything like that? It's definitely unique. And for the cool price of 3.5 million dollars, that charming little house could be all yours!

Now if I could win a whole lot of money, I could make a Batman inspired house that would knock this Flintstone's house down a few pegs on the coolness meter. ;)

Happy Friday!

I sucker punched my best friend....

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO DONATE TO THE TOYS FOR TOTS FUNDRAISER!!!!!

If you are one of the few that have donated this year, thank you! I appreciate it and I'm going to have fun spending the money on toys when I go shopping on my day off Sunday. :)

Today is my dad's birthday. He doesn't read my blog, thankfully. I'm pretty sure he's one of the few people left in my family that hasn't seen it. Hopefully anyway, haha. I digress. We haven't always got along. He wasn't always around when I was growing up. I didn't always understand why and I didn't always understand him. I still don't always understand him but I know he's caring, hard working, loving and a damn good man. I see a lot of traits in myself that I know I get from him and they're things I admire about him for the most part. :) I'm lucky to have him. Happy Birthday dad!

The Stars play tonight. Against the Sharks. They played the Sharks Monday in San Jose. They won the game in a shootout. You see that game? Jamie Benn's shootout goal was fucking awesome. I suppose if you're not into hockey you wouldn't appreciate it but dude, it was beautiful. Hopefully they can win tonight in regulation. I like when they win in OT/SO because fuck yeah winning but I much prefer a win in regulation so they're not still giving up a point to the other side.

Some people have asked what I want for Christmas. Merely for curiosity purposes so I'll post a little bit of what I want.

Tickets to the Stars/Canucks game on New Years Eve. I actually have NYE off (I usually work) and I've never been to a game where we played the Canucks before. I so badly want to see them since we don't play Vancouver often and they're one of the few times I've yet to see.

Gift cards. I know a lot of people say they're impersonal but the Boyfriend and I will be getting our own place at the beginning of the year again. Only thing is we have very little to take with us so I wanted gift cards to various places to help buy items we need. Then I was informed it was rude to ask for stuff like that since I should be asking for things I want not things we need.

New shoes and clothes. I have a pair of shoes, a pair of flats, a pair of heels and a pair of flip flops. My shoes take a beating since I have one pair and wear them constantly, lol. And clothes is something I just don't spend money on so I need some stuff that isn't worn or torn.

The other stuff on my list are books, CDs, DVDs and minor kitchen stuff.

What's on your wish list this year? :) I always enjoy seeing what other people ask for. I don't think it gives insight into that person always but sometimes it does. It also sometimes unveils interests I might not have otherwise known a person had. So comment and tell me what you want, please? ;)

I'm going to try my hand at making gingerbread cupcakes on Sunday after I do the toy shopping. Or before I do the toy shopping. Either way, I'm trying out the recipe I found. I've never made gingerbread cupcakes before and also never even eaten a gingerbread cupcake before. I LOVE gingerbread cookies, though. So when I saw an easy recipe for gingerbread cupcakes and saw that we already have the stuff to make them? Totally couldn't pass up trying to make them. Here's hoping they turn out well, lol.

Sexy yet supportive bras for chicks with really big boobs are hard to find. Bra shopping always irritates the fuck out of me. I've said before that I just need to make my own line of bras for busty chicks but I've never really been serious about it. I think I need to give it a real shot, though. It's not a bad idea and there's a definite need for it out there. I just have to figure out how to go about doing this.

The title of today's post doesn't have anything to do with anything in the post, so to speak. It's a line out of this song... "Time To Take My Drunk Ass Home" by Luke Bryan. Give it a listen. Though, it's a country song so if you hate country you probably won't dig it. The song amuses me and I like Luke Bryan. Yes, I like country music and no, not everyone in Texas does so shhh.

That's enough rambling. Remember, today is the LAST DAY to donate to the Toys for Tots fundraiser. Even if it's only $2 or $5, you'll be making a difference. :)

Happy Thursday!

The ballpark & a birthday....

Today is my mom's birthday. So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! Thanks for all that you do and have done. I'm working tonight but I have Saturday free to spend with my mom to celebrate her birthday since I couldn't get tonight off. We're going to lunch and going to the Stars/Sabres game (my family loves sports too you know :D) that evening and I'm not sure what else if anything will be going on but that will get figured out. :D

Also today?

TONIGHT IS GAME ONE IN THE WORLD SERIES. THE TEXAS RANGERS ARE MAKING THEIR FIRST WORLDS SERIES APPEARANCE.

They're facing the San Francisco Giants.

This is so fucking awesome. :)

I'm so jealous of the few people I know that are going to get to go to one of the games. I actually made it out to the Ballpark to see three baseball games this season. With my schedule and finances, that's awesome. I'd fucking love to go to a World Series game to see my team play, though. How cool would that be?

Have any of you ever gone to a major game to see your team play? World Series, Stanley Cup, etc.

I've been to tons of regular season games for both the Stars and the Rangers through out the years. I've gone to several Stars games during their playoff efforts.

I've never gone to see a Mavericks game. Yet. I need to find some basketball fans so I have someone to go with since none of my friends or boyfriend can stand to watch basketball and I really don't want to go to a game alone. I need someone to enjoy it with me. ;)

And the Cowboys, well, I've never been a big enough Cowboys fan to care about going to the games.

Some of my best memories as a little kid were getting to go to Rangers games with my family. My dad worked so much, we didn't see him or do fun stuff very often with him. He was always at work or doing something for work and really just not around too much. It always made doing stuff with him seem extra special because it didn't happen all the time. Going to baseball games with my family was one of those times we all did something together and it was fun. I remember always hoping to catch a ball, be it a home run or a foul ball, as it came slicing it's way through the air into the seats. Watching everyone destroy bags of peanuts and feeling sorry for the workers that would have to clean up all those shells. My parents letting us get the little ice cream sundaes that came in the Rangers batting helmet.
Those are so rad. Yes, are, not were. They still do that and I still think they're awesome. :D

Watching baseball always makes me miss playing. That was also another favorite part of my youth. I played for years and I was pretty good, if I do say so myself. I don't miss playing in tournaments where we played 8 games or more in a single day. In July. In that fucking Texas heat. Even with that, tournaments were still fun as hell. I still like to play catch and hit the batting cages when I have the time to do so. Batting was always my favorite part of the game. I remember the first time I knocked a ball over the fence. I've loved the sound of the ball connecting with the bat ever since that day. That crack is such a happy sound for me.

I do love hockey more than baseball which is why I tend to talk about it more. Baseball always will be my second love in sports, though. I love the game and I have so many happy memories of playing and watching. And this season for the Rangers so far has added a shitload more to the good stuff in sports memory bank. ;)

Happy Wednesday!

Go Rangers!!!! :D

Icing kisses.

Thanks a bunch to everyone who commented to tell the Boyfriend Happy Birthday yesterday. Thanks also to everyone who tweeted him on his Twitter account to wish him a Happy Birthday, too. He worked until around 12:30 AM and got home around 1 AM. I used crayons and some printer paper to make him a birthday card and a couple birthday signs. I made him some food and a birthday cake and used the night stand as a table (we don't live alone so if we want privacy, the only place we get it is the bedroom) to set all the goodies out on. We snacked, talked and watched a movie after he read his birthday card. It was nice.

Veronica over at Another Suburban Mom has a post up about a dance recital. There is actually something incredibly endearing and more than a bit touching that goes along with the cuteness of her daughter's dance recital. I got misty eyed reading it because I was so touched by it. I don't get misty eyed or cry easily at all but this just hit a nerve.
Y'all should head over there and read this post once you're done here.

And just because I'm emotionally exhausted (too much stuff went on yesterday evening and a lot of it wasn't exactly good) and don't feel like writing anything else, I'm going to post these questions that I swiped from Veronica's blog.

1. What curse word do you use the most?
Fuck. Or motherfuck.

2. Do you own an iPod?
I do. I use it a lot however since downloading a free Pandora app onto my cell phone, I find I'm using my iPod a little less.

3. What person do you talk to on the phone the most?
My boyfriend, Fangs, my mom.

4. Do you still remember the first person you kissed?
Yep. :)

5. Do you remember where you were on 11/9/01?
I can't tell if this is meant to read day/month/year or if they're just using the 9/11 numbers. Either way, I was doing school work or asleep or doing one of the things I did when I was a teenager.

6. What was the last movie you watched?
On DVD, the Boyfriend and I watched The Ugly Truth. In the theater? I think Alice In Wonderland. We can't afford to go very often and I usually don't care about most of what's coming out anyway.

7. Has anyone ever called you lazy?
I'm sure someone has but it's not something I get called often enough to remember.

8. Do you ever take medication to help you fall asleep?
When I have a cold, yes. Otherwise, no. I probably should. Then I'd get more sleep.

9. Has anyone told you a secret this week?
Yes. And OMG it's a good one. :)

10. What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
It varies. Anything from height, hair, smile, clothes, if they smell good or not, etc. Just depends on what catches my attention first.

11. What are you looking forward to?
Getting a job and not being broke. :( That's pretty much all I'm looking forward to currently. After that, I'll be looking forward to being able to get my own place with the Boyfriend again.

12. Do you own any band t-shirts?
TONS. About half of my t-shirts are band t-shirts. Guess what the other half of my t-shirts are? :p

13. What will you be doing in one hour?
Sleeping for a few hours.

14. Is anyone in love with you?
My boyfriend. :)

15. Last time you cried?
Around 2 hours ago. :/

16. Are you on a desktop computer or a laptop?
Laptop.

17. Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoos?
Yes. Those must wait, for now.

18. Would you ever date anyone covered in tattoos?
I have before.

19. What were you doing before this?
Washing dishes.

20. When is the last time you slept on the floor?
The last time I feel asleep in a friend's living room. I never sleep on the floor here. Hardwood isn't that comfy.

21. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
4. I can do 3 if I end up having too but I need at least 4 to be up and in a decent mood.

22. Do you eat breakfast daily?
Most days. :)

Happy Wednesday!

Happy Birthday to you!!

“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.”

"Your task is not to seek love, but merely to seek & find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."

"When love is not madness, it is not love."

Today is my boyfriend's 25th birthday. I'm exactly two weeks older than him, woohoo.

No one understands me as well as he does. When I met him just over 5 years ago, I didn't imagine I'd end up with him. We were friends and then a little more than that for a year before we got into a relationship together. May was our 4 year anniversary and no one makes me happier than that man does. He makes me laugh, doesn't care that I'm better at sports and video games, bakes me cupcakes, will stand up for me against anyone, understands me, accepts me and all of my flaws and so much more. He's sweet, intelligent, caring, honest, funny and has one of the biggest hearts out of anyone I know.
He treats me so well and he's just an all around wonderful person.

He doesn't blog but he does have Twitter. He checks it more than he actually tweets. So if you Twitter and you want to, go tell him Happy Birthday. :) @IROCbobZ28 is his Twitter name for those of you who don't already follow him.

He doesn't let me show his face online so this is as close as you get. This picture was taken two years or so ago, in a bar where we were celebrating something with a bunch of friends.

Happy Birthday, baby!!!
I love you!!

Comments, please?

Like memories of dying days...

Last night was the first meet up between Team USA and Team Canada for the Olympics AND USA WON 5-3! Kessler's empty net goal to close the deal and put USA up by 2 with less than a minute left in the game was amazing. We don't have cable or satellite but luckily, we found a sports bar that was showing the game. And even had the audio for the game on! I'd say a little less than half the bar was watching hockey. There was a poker tournament going on that was getting more attention. I don't care though, I love hockey. And yes, NBC's lame coverage annoys me too. I hate that people say, "No one cares about hockey." Fine, you don't care about it, I don't care. A vast majority of the United States doesn't care about it? fine, I don't care. No one likes hockey? Tell that to the millions of hockey fans all over the US alone that look forward to watching their favorite teams in not just the NHL, but the AHL and other leagues as well. Tell that to the millions of people who buy tickets, get season tickets and look forward to going to see a game played live. Hell, I look forward to just getting to watch a game. I get it though. Hockey isn't wildly popular in America. I live in Texas, seriously, I get that it's not as popular as the NFL, NBA or MLB. I also have a ton of friends and plenty of family members who couldn't care less about hockey, never watch a game, don't understand it, don't care to understand it, etc. Blah blah blah. Just because it's not wildly popular doesn't mean that "no one here likes hockey" because yeah, that's bullshit. Drive down to Victory Avenue in Dallas on a night when the Stars are playing and tell the people who are decked out in jerseys and team t-shirts that they're only fooling themselves because really, deep down, none of them really like hockey. Don't say that "absolutely no one likes XYZ" because no matter what it is, somewhere, there are people who will like and enjoy whatever you're claiming no one likes. (Warning. Something I find gross is about to be said. You may even find it crude, graphic and down right vomit inducing. Don't say I didn't warn you if you end up throwing up in your mouth a little bit. If you wanna skip it, just move down to the next paragraph.) Even if it's fucking someone in the ass, ejaculating inside of them and then using a baby spoon to remove the sperm from said ass only to feed it to the person you came in or eat it yourself. Yes, that's disgusting. I used that as an example because I have a friend who used to do that with an ex-girlfriend. My point is, don't say "no one is into this so...." because no matter what it is, there are people out there who dig it.

No one need take that as a personal attack by the way. I'm directing that more at articles and a few obnoxious people. The obnoxious people in question know I'm talking about them because we've had our "discussions" on it already. So, if I didn't discuss this with you already, don't feel like it's aimed at you or anything. Unless you want to, then whatever. =p

The always helpful, wonderful, Osbasso fixed my layout for me. Thanks, Os! The side columns were not wide enough and stuff was cut off because of that. That problem doesn't exist anymore. How does it look? I'm still on the hunt for a template that screams out at me. So you know, if you know any websites for templates for blogger that are free, let me know. =) Please & thank you. The address to my blog along with the name I blog under is probably going to change next week. So, get ready, bwahaha. You'll just have to change your links in your blogrolls, bookmarks, etc though. You'll get automatically redirected if you try to come to this address.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JESSICA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! - While I don't have permission to post the link to Jessica's livejournal, I did have permission to wish her a happy birthday as long as I didn't post the address of her sacred space. ;) Happy 21st Birthday, girlie! Hope you have a good one!

Y'all know I do the Twitter thing. I also do the formspring thing, once in a while. I thought it was goofy. I was super bored one night so I gave it a shot. It was fun. I do it irregularly now. Saturday night, I got some good/interesting questions. So, I'm going to post them here. You can anonymously ask questions & the few I'm posting today were all asked anonymously. Enjoy!

Everyone asks about positives, what about negatives? Thing you won't eat? Place you never want to visit? Person you never care to meet? Sex act you say "no" to? Music you won't listen to? Team you never want to win Stanley Cup?

Oh! I love this one! No clue who asked this but thank you. =)

Mountain Oysters. If you don't know what that is some how, look it up. =)

Russia. I have nothing against it, just not somewhere that I'd want to visit.

That's a long list, lol. Most famous people honestly. Celebrities don't interest me much.

Anything involving shit, piss, vomit or animals.

There isn't much I won't listen to. I can't stand most of the pop crap that comes on the radio though. Lady GaGa, Beyonce, etc. I also really can't stand most rap.

Haha. I wouldn't say I never want a team to win it because those guys all play their asses off and work really damn hard for it. I'd never deny someone an achievement they worked hard to get. I'll admit I wouldn't be happy about the Sharks, Capitals, Flames, Ducks, Devils or Flyers winning it though since those are the 6 teams I dislike most. Though, each of those teams has at least one player on there that I like but that's not enough to make me smile if they won the Stanley Cup. ;)

Is it healthy to be in a relationship when you can't get along with in-laws?

You're not in a relationship with your in-laws. You and the person you're with is the more important relationship. You won't like everyone, you won't get along with everyone and that applies to in-laws and your SO's family in my opinion. Granted, not getting along with your SO's family makes it a bit more difficult if your SO has a decent relationship with their family.

Is there a odor that makes you instantly sick?

Cabbage cooking. The smell makes my stomach churn instantly & blech.

What would the founding fathers think of the USA today, if brought back to life in 2010?

I have no idea. As far as I know, I'm not any of the founding fathers reincarnated so I wouldn't begin to speculate about the disappointment or joy they get from the current progression of things.

WHICH IS BETTER: chicken or beef? apples or oranges? sex or chocolate? hockey or football? massage or lots of kissing? the icing or the cake? starbucks or dutch bros? google or bing? one tree hill or gossip girl? american idol or so u think u can dance?

Chicken. Hands now.

Apples. Don't like oranges.

Sex. I'm not a fan of chocolate.

HOCKEY. Duh.

Massage. Then lots of kissing after.

The cake. Not a big fan of icing.

Starbucks. Dutch Bros. sucks IMO. Not at all sad we don't have them in Texas.

Google.

House.

House.

Happy Monday!

An update, half naked news & a giveaway to come.

There's nothing much here to see right now but....

Later tonight, around 10 PM Central time, there will be a snazzy update on The Blogger Toy Fundraiser and a special holiday HNT. ;)

Thanks to the wonderful people who have donated money for the fundraiser. I appreciate your help very much.
Whether it's $3, $5, $10 or more than that, any amount is enough to help buy a toy so a kid will have something to open on Christmas morning. If you want to donate, please do! I edited The Blogger Fundraiser post with more information on Genesis Women's Shelter so please check that out! I promise, next year if (when!) I do this again, I'll start much sooner. ;)

Also, the Boyfriend & I decided that after the fundraiser is over, we're going to give a little back and do my very first blog giveaway. We'll be giving away a gift card and possibly a few extra little goodies as well. You don't have to have made a donation to enter the giveaway but there will be something you have to do so we can pick a winner. ;) More d
etails for that will be coming soon though.

Also.... y'all head over to see Essin' Em and tell that lovely lady HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Wednesday!

Oh, hi.

Yeah, my hair isn't black anymore. Two weeks ago, we had a family get together and my step-cousins wife was bored. She's been a master stylist for 14 years and owns her own salon. She was bored and wanted to do everyone's hair. She was offering body wraps too, lol. So, I asked her if she would trim my hair up, fix the layers the last girl that did my hair tried to do but fucked up. She said she could fix it so I was happy. She asked if I wanted color. I asked if she could do purple highlights, lol. She could but didn't bring purple with her. She asked if she could do something to it. She played with my hair and asked if I wanted to go lighter and I said sure. I told her to do whatever and I'd trust her judgment. If I hated it, I could always fix it with darker color later. So my hair is a mix of dark brown, copper and orange. I actually like it. I love the way she did the long layers she did with my hair too. Of course, I'll get better pictures to show off my hair. Eventually.

It's pretty obvious I haven't been blogging much. I haven't had the free time honestly. I wish I could say it was because I have a real full time job and that's why I'm too busy to work. That's not it though. There's just a lot going on that I don't feel like typing up yet. Family stuff. Issues with other things. Trying to do this and do that. I don't have any free time to get online to do much. I haven't had time to blog, to read other blogs (which sucks because I miss reading y'all!), e-mail, participate on the few other websites I like or even read the freaking news online on a regular basis. Sometimes I go a few days without touching my laptop. Nice to know that while I miss all this shit, I'm not going crazy without it. Though I already knew I'm not the kind of person who freaks out without the internet. It's only a small part of my life and when I have too much real life going on, it doesn't bother me to not get online that often. I'm sorry if that sounds bad because I don't mean it to be bad or insulting in any way at all. Though, I do wish I had time to blog every day again and read all my favorite blogs on a more regular basis but whatever. Such is life. ;)

For those that have asked about my grandparents, thanks so much. My grandfather isn't doing any better. He's doing worse actually. They don't think he'll make it passed Thanksgiving. Sucks. I'm going to miss him so much.

My dad and 22 were both here to visit for a week. I tried to spend as much time with them as I could before they went back to California.

LS has been here for two weeks now. She's leaving in a few days. She'll have been here three weeks once she heads back to California. She's thinking about moving back home to Texas though, she misses it here. Most of her stuff is in CA still though and she still has a job there (working for dad has it's perks ;)) so she wants to get a couple more paychecks if she does decide to move. Smart kid. I can't believe my little sister is almost 19.

I didn't realize how much I missed Dad, LS and 22 until they all came to visit. Watching my dad leave at the airport... I just wished he didn't have to leave. I wish we could all live in the same state again so I could see them all more. I probably won't see Dad or 22 again until next year. If LS doesn't decide to move back at the end of the year, I won't see her again until next year either. Yeah, I love my family. We're a weird, close bunch and I don't dig hardly ever seeing them. Anyway.....

I've been sick for a little over two weeks now. Sucks. I went almost four whole days without being able to talk because my throat was swollen and my voice was just gone. It fucking sucked! I talk a lot. I couldn't stand not being able to talk. Plus, we went to the Stars game on Monday night and I couldn't cheer or yell. That was torture. I had to settle for clapping, whistling and stomping my feet. The Stars lost that night too. Doubly sad. Though they played the Ducks in Anaheim last night and fucking won! Hell yes. Didn't get to watch it but I listened to the second and third period, lol. I'm SO happy hockey is back! Love love love love love it!

Last but not least... Aside from the fact that today is the birthday of three of my real life friends, today is also the birthday of on of my blogger friends! The intelligent, sweet, witty, lovely Another Suburban Mom! Go wish her a happy day now! =)

Muah! =)

I wake up screaming....

I hate to sound like a broken record but I still need the two people holding me up on the picture post to email me. I've seen both of you creeps blogging and on Twitter so come on, just return a simple email. I really want to use your pictures because they are all beautiful but the big picture post is going up tomorrow. If I don't know how to credit you properly and know which blog/website you want to be linked to, I'm just going to skip on using your pictures. If you both only had one blog that would make it easier but you both have kink blogs, vanilla blogs, Twitter and other shit. The good thing about this is that I've had four more people e-mail me pictures in while waiting on the hold-ups so I'm over 150+ pictures now. Make sure you come back tomorrow to see who submitted pictures and what all they submitted. It's quite the variety. There are some weird, beautiful, HOT, cute and stunning pictures to be seen. Make sure you have time to look through them though, there are SO MANY. I am so amazed at the number of people who sent stuff in to me to use. I really wasn't expecting so much participation! Y'all rock.

Thanks so much to everyone who wished me well and sent me good vibes yesterday. I went to the bar and I didn't have to wait at all to talk to someone. Then I ended up spending 40 or 45 minutes in there. I'll know by the start of next week if I'm going to get hired on or not. I think it went well though. Not just because of the amount of time I spent in there but because I just got a really good feeling about it. Here's hoping! Keep the good vibes coming too! I need a job something fierce. *Sigh*

Also, I hate when my friends and other people bitch about being "so broke" and then are like "Oh look at these cute shoes I got!" Or "Oh yay I got my nails done today!" Or "I went out to dinner and had the best burger, you have to go to this place and try it!" Or "The bartenders are this new club are so hot and curvaceous, you need to go hit it up and check it out!" Yeah, I would but I really am broke and can't afford stuff I actually need, let alone things like dinners out, new shoes, getting my hair or nails done and going out to clubs and bars. Not that I'm angry or bitter about it but I hate hearing about stuff they're doing and buying then listening to them complain about "how broke" they are. Quit buying shit you don't need and you'll have more money, lol. Of course if I say that, I'm just being "mean" or "bitter" or "hateful" or some shit like that. It's none of that. Seriously. Don't complain about being broke and then talk about all the money you spend on useless crap you don't really need. DUH.

Last week a lot of people did a Flaws HNT. The outcome, stories and pictures were totally amazing and inspiring. Today, some of those people are doing a "favorite body part" to counter the flaws post. I decided I would do that too. My lips are my favorite feature. =)

Now, come back Friday for the big picture post. Then instead of a Saturday Survey, I'll have Saturday Stripper Stories. The first SSS is going to be a flashback of a story I told a while back. I've gained a lot of new readers then so y'all missed the story and the pictures that go with it.

Happy Thursday y'all!

Never gonna let me in....

Boyfriend and I were sitting around last night after work chatting about a lot of nothing.A book he was reading was sitting on the kitchen table and I picked up the business card that he's used as a bookmark for several years. It's got his name on it though he hasn't worked for the company it's from in a couple years. I laughed, a little surprised, mentioning how I couldn't believe he still used that thing as a bookmark. He just laughed and said some how it's the only thing he's been able to hold on to and not lose in terms of "bookmarks" which made me think... I have a problem with losing bookmarks. I've made several using construction paper or even notebook paper all doodled up. I've purchased many bookmarks over the years too. I have none. I always always always manage to lose them some how. I haven't purchased one in about a year now because after I managed to lose the last one I got, I said fuck it. Now I just use random papers to save my place and it's not ever the same random paper for very long.

Today is 22's birthday. Maybe I should change his blog nickname to 23 since he's now 23? Lol. Probably not. ;) Which means today is the 9th and my birthday is only 6 DAYS AWAY now. I'll be 24. Yeah, my brother 22 and I aren't even a full year apart in age. Don't say anything about the amount of time between are births, please and thank you in advance. Think all you want but just don't say anything, lol.

I had the strangest dream the other night. Like, weird even by my standards and trust me, I have some crazy weird fucking dreams. Check out the "dreams" link in my label cloud if you're new to the blog and want to see for yourself. This dream I won't be posting here though. I did write it out in Microsoft Word and saved it away though. I might be using it in a writing project I've started so hey, maybe you'll read about it one of these days anyway. If you so choose to do so. ;)

Happy Tuesday!

Saturday Survey #345678
Brought to you by: Amorous Rocker

Do you have any fashion icons that you look up to or try to model your style after?

Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha. Ahem. No. I am not fashionable or trendy at all. I don't keep up. I wear what I like. Which is a lot of black, fishnets, pinstripes and etc. I don't give a shit about fashion. If I like it and can afford it, I'll wear it so leaveee me and my jeans and band tshirts ALOOONE. Thanks.

What are you doing tonight?
Working until 2 in the AM. Yeah baby.

What color eyeshadow do you wear?
Blacks, greys, dark purple, dark red. Usually some dark color with black outlining it. Or something skin toned. Or nothing. :)

Do you walk around your house naked?
I live with my family so no and I appreciate that none of them run around in their birthday suit either.

Do you like men with beards and goatees?
Depends on how it looks on the guy. My boyfriend looks goofy without his goatee but he's so effing hot with it, yum. Actually yeah, I like facial hair or stubbly-I-haven't-shaved-in-a day-or-three scruff. Yum.

What annoys you most about your best friend?
I have more than one best friend but lets pick Fangs. He's flakey and that drives me nuts.

What is the most non-scary horror film ever?
Pick one. Most horror films aren't scary. They should fucking call it cheesy-gory-spooky-comedy I swear.

What movie has the best soundtrack?
There are tones! It just depends on what you're in the mood for. I love the Underworld soundtrack. Sexy music there. I picked that because I was listening to it a couple days ago, lol.

Do you listen to 80s music?
Haha yes, yes I do. =)

What's your favourite dessert?
Ice cream. =)

When you were a kid did you believe that the opposite gender had cooties?
No, I was a big tomboy and I definitely didn't think boys had cooties. I did think girls were strange. Still do. I'm still a tomboy. =)

Do you like the redsox or the yankees?
No and no.

Who was the last person you couldn't keep your eyes off of?
This girl at work the other night. A customer. She wasn't gorgeous or anything but she was acting really peculiar but I couldn't figure out what exactly she was doing. She just kept moving around the parking lot and at times looked like she was dancing. Other times she barely seemed to be moving. Other times she was ducking down and duck walking between cars. I dunno. I couldn't stop watching to see what she was going to do next though.

Are there any stressful situations in your life currently?
Yeah definitely but that's life.

When was the last time a member of the opposite sex hugged you?
Work Friday night. This one kid always hugs me at least once every time we work together.

Have you kissed more than 3 people in one night?
Lol. Yes.

Did you sing today?
I sing every day.

List one fact about the last person you texted?
He's a whiney little bitc.... Err. He's got more sexy toys than a lot of girls I know. That one's true too. It's weird and no, you don't want to know. I don't even want to know some of the time. Not that it stops him from oversharing.

Have you found out anything interesting in the last 48 hours?
Kind of but I can't say because I want to post about it next week, hehe.

Honestly, if you could go back 5 months and change something, would you?
Maybe. I don't even know. Probably not. Everything happens the way it happens and changing it could make things worse or maybe better. Just leave the passed alone and worry about today and tomorrow.

Is there anyone who just doesn't like you?
Uh yeah, lol. Several people at work really don't like me. A friend or two of my boyfriend's really don't like me. Some of my friends friends can't fucking stand me. I don't care. =)

What is the last thing you put into your mouth?
A juicy piece of apple. Mmm, it was delicious.

How often do you think before you speak?
Not near as often as I should, that's for sure, lol.

Would you prefer someone romantic, charming, and polite or spontaneous, fun and wild?
I'll take considerate, spontaneous, fun and respectful.

Are you ever afraid to ask questions because you think people will think you're dumb for not knowing?
Nope, lol. I'll just ask and if I get laughed at, I shrug it off or joke about it. Or if they're being a dick about it, I say something smart ass or asshole worthy to shut them up.

Do you use the term "bestie" when referring to a best friend?
Nope, never.

If you could make your lips bigger, would you?
No, I think they're fine how they are.

If alcohol were banned, what would your reaction be?
I'd be annoyed.

Have you ever peed for someone so they would pass a drug test?
Nope. I've had people proposition me for that but nope.

Do you sleep well more often than you sleep poorly?
No. I usually don't sleep well. I have too much going on in my head and have to tell myself to shut the fuck up, stop thinking so much and go to sleep. I usually have to tell myself that 5 or more times, lol. Then I have crazy dreams and wake up too many times.
