Oh, hi.

Yeah, my hair isn't black anymore. Two weeks ago, we had a family get together and my step-cousins wife was bored. She's been a master stylist for 14 years and owns her own salon. She was bored and wanted to do everyone's hair. She was offering body wraps too, lol. So, I asked her if she would trim my hair up, fix the layers the last girl that did my hair tried to do but fucked up. She said she could fix it so I was happy. She asked if I wanted color. I asked if she could do purple highlights, lol. She could but didn't bring purple with her. She asked if she could do something to it. She played with my hair and asked if I wanted to go lighter and I said sure. I told her to do whatever and I'd trust her judgment. If I hated it, I could always fix it with darker color later. So my hair is a mix of dark brown, copper and orange. I actually like it. I love the way she did the long layers she did with my hair too. Of course, I'll get better pictures to show off my hair. Eventually.

It's pretty obvious I haven't been blogging much. I haven't had the free time honestly. I wish I could say it was because I have a real full time job and that's why I'm too busy to work. That's not it though. There's just a lot going on that I don't feel like typing up yet. Family stuff. Issues with other things. Trying to do this and do that. I don't have any free time to get online to do much. I haven't had time to blog, to read other blogs (which sucks because I miss reading y'all!), e-mail, participate on the few other websites I like or even read the freaking news online on a regular basis. Sometimes I go a few days without touching my laptop. Nice to know that while I miss all this shit, I'm not going crazy without it. Though I already knew I'm not the kind of person who freaks out without the internet. It's only a small part of my life and when I have too much real life going on, it doesn't bother me to not get online that often. I'm sorry if that sounds bad because I don't mean it to be bad or insulting in any way at all. Though, I do wish I had time to blog every day again and read all my favorite blogs on a more regular basis but whatever. Such is life. ;)

For those that have asked about my grandparents, thanks so much. My grandfather isn't doing any better. He's doing worse actually. They don't think he'll make it passed Thanksgiving. Sucks. I'm going to miss him so much.

My dad and 22 were both here to visit for a week. I tried to spend as much time with them as I could before they went back to California.

LS has been here for two weeks now. She's leaving in a few days. She'll have been here three weeks once she heads back to California. She's thinking about moving back home to Texas though, she misses it here. Most of her stuff is in CA still though and she still has a job there (working for dad has it's perks ;)) so she wants to get a couple more paychecks if she does decide to move. Smart kid. I can't believe my little sister is almost 19.

I didn't realize how much I missed Dad, LS and 22 until they all came to visit. Watching my dad leave at the airport... I just wished he didn't have to leave. I wish we could all live in the same state again so I could see them all more. I probably won't see Dad or 22 again until next year. If LS doesn't decide to move back at the end of the year, I won't see her again until next year either. Yeah, I love my family. We're a weird, close bunch and I don't dig hardly ever seeing them. Anyway.....

I've been sick for a little over two weeks now. Sucks. I went almost four whole days without being able to talk because my throat was swollen and my voice was just gone. It fucking sucked! I talk a lot. I couldn't stand not being able to talk. Plus, we went to the Stars game on Monday night and I couldn't cheer or yell. That was torture. I had to settle for clapping, whistling and stomping my feet. The Stars lost that night too. Doubly sad. Though they played the Ducks in Anaheim last night and fucking won! Hell yes. Didn't get to watch it but I listened to the second and third period, lol. I'm SO happy hockey is back! Love love love love love it!

Last but not least... Aside from the fact that today is the birthday of three of my real life friends, today is also the birthday of on of my blogger friends! The intelligent, sweet, witty, lovely Another Suburban Mom! Go wish her a happy day now! =)
