Drink of the Day: The Naked Lady

The Naked Lady (As a shot)

1 oz white rum
1 oz sweet vermouth
4 dashes apricot brandy
2 dashes grenadine syrup
4 dashes lemon juice (or 1 oz sour mix)

Pour the white rum, sweet vermouth, apricot brandy, grenadine and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a highball glass, and serve.

The Naked Lady (As a cocktail)

1/4 oz light rum
1/4 oz dark rum
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz peach schnapps
2 oz orange juice
1 splash Sprite soda

Mix light rum, dark rum, amaretto, and peach schnapps together. Add ice to a tall glass, pour cocktail over ice, add the splash of sprite on top, and serve. Optional garnish: Maraschino cherry, mint leaf.

That sounds yummy! I haven't tried any new cocktails in a while. I may have to order one this evening when we go out to dinner. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend :)

It takes way too much effort to mix drinks for me. lol
But I do always ponder exactly how these names are decided...
Panty Dropper, Naked Lady, Sex on the Beach... If I invent a new drink I'm naming it something horrid. Something like Diarrhea Tonight! lol
