Questions & a picture parade...

I did part one of these questions a week ago. I'm getting around to part two now. Working crazy hours is totally hindering my blogging. Which, I know sucks for everyone who likes to stop by and read here. Also, sucks for me because I mainly blog because I like to write and haven't had much time to do that lately. Fucking crazy work schedule. It's all good, though.

1.) If you could be a star athlete in any sport, which sport would you pick?
Hockey. ;)

2.) If you had to throw away either your TV or your computer, which would you choose?
TV. I pretty much never watch TV unless there's a game on I want to see and even then, most are on cable channels I don't have anyway. You can watch stuff online anyway, so... :)

3.) Would you rather own a luxury yacht or a private jet?
Jet.

4.) What was the last home cooked meal you had and when was it?
I don't remember when but I made spaghetti one afternoon before work recently-ish.

5.) If you had to become any fictional character out of Alice In Wonderland for an entire week, who would you be?
Mad Hatter. Who else? ;)

6.) If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
I wouldn't change it.

7.) Would it be terrible for you (since you don't like her) if you got stuck in an elevator with Lady Gaga?
I dislike her music. I don't know her as a person so I can't dislike her. It would be terrible to be stuck in any elevator, period. I'm claustrophobic and dislike elevators as it is. Being stuck in one? PASS.

8.) What TV show on FOOD Network would you be on?
We don't have cable/satellite so I have no idea.

9.) What is one thing you are bad at?
Waiting. I have a lot of energy and I get bored if I need to just sit somewhere, doing nothing, waiting.... Aye.

10.) Who is hotter; Eric Dane, Milo Ventimiglia, Chace Crawford or Paul Wesley?
I have no clue who any of them are.

11.) If you had to be one would you rather be a famous model, actress or musician?
Musician. I love music. I'd hate to be famous, though.

12.) What did the last message you got in a fortune cookie say?
No idea. I don't even remember the last time I had a fortune cookie because it was SO long ago.

13.) How do you like your steak served to you?
On a plate. :)

14.) If you had to give up watching hockey games on TV or sex for a year, which would you give up?
Ouch.... Uhh.... Hockey. Lol. I can still go to games, right? That's not watching on TV, so woo. What if I watch on the laptop? Woohoo. Still, between those two, I'd have to deal with reading about how the games went, lol.

15.) What's the best thing about your new job?
That I'm getting a paycheck again, lol.

Thanks for the questions, y'all! If anyone has anything else they want to ask, hit my formspring with them. I know I have a few there now so I'll answer them as I have time to. :)

And now, some pictures that were posted on my Tumblr... just because I want them here, too.

Happy Monday!!!

More rambling.......

Today is my first day off since I started my new job. I'm worn out, lol. 60+ hour work weeks with no day off will do that I suppose. I'm still enjoying it despite the hectic hours and the fact that, even though I live with my guy, I rarely see him now. Speaking of, he interviewed for a job on Friday and found out Tuesday that he got it. I'm so happy because now he can quit that shitbox company he currently works for. He'll be working in his field doing what he likes doing and getting paid well. Yay!!! Hopefully we can move out soon and get our own place again. I so miss having our own place.

Anyway... My day off is going to be spent doing laundry and errands. Also have plans to have dinner out with some of the guys. I miss seeing my friends, lol. I think there will be movie watching or video games after dinner, too. I just wish the Boyfriend were going to be hanging out but alas, he'll be at work all night until late. Then I'll be passed out by the time he gets in since I work early Friday.. Yay split shifts. .;)

I got some blade tape to do a giveaway with but I need to think of a good hockey themed contest for people who want to try to win some blade tape. No, I didn't buy it. I had a company contact me and offer to send me some to use and giveaway in exchange for getting their name more out there. Fun fun. I'm always down for helping a good company out. Especially a local one, heh.

My boyfriend got me a footbath spa thing Tuesday night. It bubbles, massages, is heated and all that good stuffs. He's such a sweetheart. :) if anyone can suggest some salts or anything to use in the foot spa thing, go for it. :)

Rangers won again last night over the Twins!!! Hell yes!

Also, is it hockey season yet? :p I know, I know. It's getting closer, though. I'm lucky I dig baseball so I at least have that to keep amused with. Still not as awesome as hockey, though.

Happy Thursday!!!!!

Ramble ramble....

Have you ever listened to a story your co-worker was telling you and been so bored you wanted to stab your own hand with a fork just for the distraction to make the story stop? Also to make the story you'll tell later more interesting? Yeah, me too. One of my co-workers is super nice but he tells the most long, drawn out and ultimately boring stories ever. He's so nice, though. So I humor him and listen to his stories and then immediately work to change the subject. I can't be mean for no reason. I like him otherwise, too. So I don't want to be a dick to him. I just want him to refrain from telling stories. And jokes! Oh gosh, lol. At least I have a couple nice co-workers and a cool boss. That always helps make the work place a more enjoyable place.

I'm going to see my family in October! :) This is exciting since it's been over a year since I've seen my dad and 22 and by the time I see them again, about a year since I've seen my mom, LS and YB. I miss them. :) I also get to take in a kick ass concert while seeing them. So woo!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER TO BE OVER. It was 109 yesterday with a heat index of 169818. Okay, not really that bad but shit man. And it doesn't cool off much once the sun goes away. Still in the mid 90's and still humid. Sometimes, I wonder why I love Texas so much. :D

HOCKEY SEASON STARTS SOON. Bring it! I think we're going to the home opener against Detroit. Which will be awesome but sad at the same time, lol. I'm not digging seeing my favorite player in a Red Wings jersey now. Yay hockey! At least I enjoy baseball so I don't go in massive sports withdrawal too bad in the summer. Which reminds me, the Rangers beat the Twins last night. Hell yes! I was at work but several of my awesome Twitter people were updating me on how the game was going. I couldn't check it that often to see the updates but I saw enough to halfway keep up with what was going on. :)

Happy Tuesday!

OMG HI!

In my most recent blog post, I requested people ask me questions so I could blog my answers. I got enough that it should make for an interesting enough blog post. My blogging has been sporadic lately. Not for lack of wanting to post but my work schedule is nuts. My schedule for this week?

Monday: 6 hour shift.

Tuesday: 4 hour shift. 1 hour break. 7 hour closing shift.

Wednesday: 5 hour shift. 1 hour break. 7 hour closing shift.

Thursday: DAY OFF. My first one since I started this job over a week ago so I'll be doing laundry, errands and catching up on everything I haven't been able to do that I need to do, lol.

Friday: 4 hour shift. 1
hour break. 8 hour closing shift.

Saturday: 7 hour closing shift.

Sunday: 7 hour closing shift.

So, there we go. Another 50+ hour work week. Which makes me happy I get paid hourly. Hello, overtime. :) A lovely highlight from last week is that Saturday I got to meet Hubman and Veronica. They were in Dallas and dropped by my job on my break to meet and chat with me for a little bit before enjoying their night out on the town. And yes, they're just as awesome as they seem on their blogs. :) I just wish I had been less worn out, lol.

Anyway, on with the questions. I'm splitting them into two different posts because I got enough questions to do just that. :) Enjoy and thanks to everyone who asked me questions.

1. What's the longest you've ever gone without a bath or shower?

Not long. Probably 2 or 3 days when there were issues with the water not working. Otherwise, I shower EVERY DAY. I HATE not showering. Blech.

2. Which will be the next winning number of the lottery?

I have no clue. I wish I did!

3. Are you right or left handed?

Righty!

4. If you had to cook dinner for someone tonight, what would you make them?

A list of what I wanted them to cook for me. :D Hehe. I'd make them something Italian.

5. How do you think your Stars are going to do this year?? I don't see them play very often and have no clue of the state of your team for this season.

I think they'll do decently. I'm not expecting them to make a run for the Cup successfully this season. They're in the middle of big changes and rebuilding. It'll be interesting. <3

6. How old are you?
25

7. Who is your favorite author?

Stephen King, Alex Kava, Rob Thurman, Laurell K. Hamilton. To name a few. :) I have tons. I love to read.

8. Do you like Harry Potter?

I do.

9. Will you look at my blog?

Sure. :)

10. Do you live in the United States?

I do. :) I live in Texas.

11. Would you rather go without hockey or baseball for the rest of your life?

Baseball.

12. What was your dream last night about?

I have no idea. I'm so tired lately from working a lot that I haven't been remembering any dreams I may be having.

13. What video game do you like to play the most?

Call of Duty, Devil May Cry, sports games, Super Mario.

14. If you could instantly become fluent in 5 other languages, which languages would you pick?

Greek, Swedish, French, Spanish, Gaelic.

15. Have you ever gone to a concert and been disappointed by the quality of the band's music live?

Yeah. Evanescence and Train to name a couple.

Part two will have the other questions so if you don't see the one you asked here, no worries, they're coming! Also, feel free to ask something if you didn't but want to. And if you asked one of the 30+ questions I have waiting for me on Formspring, I'll get to them whenever I can. :)

Happy Monday!

Ask me anything...

I haven't done one of these posts in a long while. I'm too tired from
all the hours I'm putting in to really write something worth reading,
lol. So, you readers out there, ask me anything. One question, two,
five, how ever many. You people without blogs can ask anonymously if
you want. Hell, anyone can ask anonymously, heh. I'll take all the
questions I get from y'all and answer them in a blog post. They can be
funny, nonsense, serious, etc. Just ask me stuff. Please? *batting
eyelashes* C'mon, no one can resist some eyelash batting! (Actually
most people can, I assume.)

Oh and the Boyfriend has a job interview today for a pretty good
place. Hopefully it goes well so he can quit the craphole he works in
now. Good luck my love! :)

Happy Friday!!

Life & random thoughts....

I've worked 22 hours so far this week. Today I only have to go in for 3 hours. It would be by day off minus those 3 hours. Then from Thursday-Sunday I work 40 hours. So, forgive me for not blogging or being around Twitter much or responding in a timely fashion to e-mails. I'm busy working my ass off, lol. I'm going to feel like I live there by the end of the week. Especially with no day off. My new boss is pretty great so far. We'll see if he keeps being awesome. :D

We play top 40 music at work. I've had a fucking Ke$ha song stuck in my head for almost 2 days now. I feel like stabbing my brain every time the song starts going off in my head. My only bitch thus far would be the music, though. I can live with that. Except the awful shit just drives me nuts. I seriously can't stand that kind of music. Catchy pop music is just... horrible to my ears.

A few random thoughts....
  • I love jalapenos.
  • I'm not fond of alfredo sauce as a general rule but pizza with alfredo over tomato sauce is pretty good. Likely because I tasted chicken, cheese and jalapenos more than the alfredo sauce, lol.
  • Cherry coke and lemonade do not go well together. People who put cherry coke into my lemonade are not funny. Especially when it's a bottle and I can't see what color the liquid inside is.
  • One of my co-workers is one of the biggest douchebag tools I've ever met.
  • Baby powder with lavender smells awesome
  • I miss you.... :)
  • Putting together 23 chairs from IKEA is not a fun way to spend an afternoon. Unless you're getting paid for it. Then who cares?
  • Saying IKEA makes me chuckle sometimes. I have no idea why.

Happy Wednesday!

Monday, August 16, 2010

Hello...

Hello!

Did y'all miss me?

It's okay if you didn't, lol.

I didn't blog much at all last week because I was feeling pretty down.
I didn't want to write to whine about stuff, I didn't want to talk
about what was bothering me and I didn't want to write any downer
posts. So, I didn't.

I will tell you that I got "let go" from the job I just got last
Monday. Ironically, my boss had a cousin that was hired for the
position I had been in and started the exact day I was let go. Go
figure. So I was upset and disappointed about that but not too badly.
I mean, the place was ridiculously unprofessional not to mention most
of the people I worked with were snobby cunts.

Come Wednesday, I got a call from a guy I had previously interviewed
with. He wanted to offer me a job if I happened to still be
interested. I started Friday and worked all weekend. And so far? I
love it. My new boss is big on being punctual. Unlike my former boss
that would show up anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour late leaving us
waiting in the parking lot to be let in. I don't have any snobby cunt
co-workers. The hours and pay are better. There's structure and a good
sense of professionalism. Hopefully, I keep liking it.

I just won't be blogging and tweeting as much since I'll be working a
fuck ton of hours. Which is great for me, honestly.

I'm happy I'm only working an 8 hour shift today, though. I hung out
with the Boyfriend and some friends last night. R's girlfriend decided
she wanted to do shots. So, she kept buying shots and kept giving them
to me. Not like I'm complaining. Yay for booze! Yay for booze I don't
have to pay for, lol. I got around three and a half hours of sleep.
Which isn't bad considering I sleep around 4-5 hours most nights
anyway. It was fun. I had a horrible day yesterday up until that point
so it was nice.

Hope all of you reading had a lovely weekend! :)

Meh...

I don't have much to say. Emotionally, I'm kinda wrecked. Monday was
rough on me (and hell Sunday, too) and I'm just.... I don't even know
how to explain how I'm feeling in a single word. Stressed, frustrated,
sad, annoyed, drained, confused. Those all fit.

So, y'all should go leave me questions to answer on my formspring
account. Ask me anything you want. It can be silly or serious or
anything you want. You can even ask anonymously and don't need an
account.

http://www.formspring.me/AshlyStar

You can see lots of questions and answers I already have posted, too.
You know, if you want to read a bunch of random junk. It amuses (and
distracts) me to have questions to answer.

Also, if any of you are on Twitter and I'm not following you? I'm
looking for some new people to follow. So you know, if you don't mind
me following you feel free to let me know your Twitter name. Please
and thank you.

Happy Tuesday.

The anti-rape condom...

"This is so brilliant! An anti-rape female condom invented by Sonette Ehlers… A South African women working as a blood technician with the South African Blood Transfusion Service, during which time she met and treated many rape victims.

The device, known as The Rape-aXe, is a latex sheath embedded with shafts of sharp, inward-facing microscopic barbs that would be worn by a woman in her vagina like a tampon. If an attacker were to attempt vaginal rape, their penis would enter the latex sheath and be snagged by the barbs, causing the attacker pain during withdrawal and (ideally) giving the victim time to escape. The condom would remain attached to the attacker’s body when he withdrew and could only be removed surgically, which would alert hospital staff and police. This device could assist in the identification and prosecution of rapists."

I saw this and wanted to post something about it. I'm honestly not sure what I think about this yet and I've been meaning to post about it for a while now to see what others would have to say about it. can think of several pros and cons but I'm having an issue with articulating my complete thoughts on this. Probably because I'm exhausted. So I might come back and edit this once I'm more rested or just make a second post as a continuation.

What do y'all think?

Happy Monday!

Life? It happens...

I watched Kick Ass last night. It was good. I don't know that I would watch it again, though, now that I know how it ends. Some movies, while they can be awesome, I don't have interest in seeing them again. Other movies, I don't mind watching them several times or over and over again.

I had a scary situation happen Wednesday night and then another sketchy situation happen Thursday afternoon. The police were involved Wednesday night because I ended up calling them out of necessity. Thursday afternoon, I was going to attempt to help someone but I realized quickly that he didn't need help and didn't have good intentions, either. Thanks to be being so cynical, having a lot of mistrust of people in general and being full of common sense, I avoided something potentially bad happening Thursday.
I don't want to go into detail about either incident to be honest but I'm okay. I usually attract strange and weird incidents or people to me. I'm not sure what it is about me but weird, random things often happen to me. Mostly? It's very rarely anything bad. It's normally amusing or just odd but non-threatening. This last week or so? Not so much. This last week or so? I haven't been venturing out of the city we live in. I very rarely spend any time in the city we actually live in because it's not the best area to be. This last week or so has been proving my theory about it being worth the little bit of driving to be in a better area to do things. I don't believe in coincidence so I don't think it's coincidence. Thanks to my being unemployed for so long, we don't live on our own anymore currently and we don't live in the best area, either. The Boyfriend and I plan to move back out to our own apartment, into a different city, as soon as we're financially able to again. Which thankfully should be able to happen in a few months. Which will be lovely. I hate where we're living now and I seriously miss having my own place.

Anyway. :)

I'm working on a post about one night stands and keeping up or not keeping up with the number of sexual partners one has. I'm also working on a post about a type of vaginal surgery I saw about on the news last night. It isn't reconstructing surgery, either. I just didn't feel like finishing either because they both ended up longer than I thought they would. All I'm going to say? I'm not letting anyone operate on my vagina unless it's necessary. I mean life and death or serious illness or health complications kind of necessary.

I know a ridiculous amount of girls that are pregnant right now. I'd say friends but none of them are friends. My boyfriend's little sister, friend's siblings, people I know due to mutual friends, etc. None of them are married or in serious relationships. None of them were planned. And none of them even live on their own or have jobs or the ability to take care of themselves, let alone a child. I'm talking 7 girls that are all 22-28. Most of them hoping people around them are going to help them take care of their babies once they're born; emotionally, financially, etc. CONDOMS AND BIRTH CONTROL PEOPLE. At least condoms if you can't afford birth control and can't get it for free. There are a lot of places you can get free condoms from. And for all the people I know? They can afford protection and just didn't use it. No one likes the way condoms feel but be responsible if you're going to have sex.

Happy Friday!

Suckage, charity, Rangers, Brand Boyd & more.

You know what sucks? Unexpectedly stepping on a LEGO block, especially if you catch a corner or if it twists around under you. Fuck that shit. It's a tiny little thing but it's SO very annoying.

More suckage? Paper cuts. Fuck 'em. They're annoying as hell. And they're so small they shouldn't be such a problem. Go figure.

You know what else sucks? My boyfriend gets home from work and gets to bed about an hour before I get up for work. I get home from work after he's already gone to work. By the time he gets home, I'm passed the fuck out. The only day we have off together is Sunday. So even though I live with him, I'm only going to see him one day out of the week. And a few hours on Friday nights. It'll do. At least I'm finally working but man... Lol.

The Boyfriend rented After.Life last night from Redbox. It has Liam Neeson in it. I so love him as an actor. It also has Christina Ricci and she's awesome. I don't usually like movies like that because they tend to be so laughable and ridiculous. "Scary" movies don't scare me and "thrillers" don't usually do much for me either. Blood and gore movies don't bother me either. I actually dig some of those. Mmm, blood and gore. Anyway, I haven't watched it yet.

I find it funny when people criticize other people's taste in movies. "I hate horror movies, I need some substance in my films and blood and scary bits aren't substance." Yeah, but romantic comedies are just packed full of substance, right? Riii-iight. To each their own people. Quit being so fucking critical of EVERYTHING, stop acting like your opinion is the only one and that anyone that likes something you find stupid is also a moron. Pfft. Of course, disagreeing is cool. I just find it ridiculous when people attack someone or get into pitiful little serious trash talking matches over stuff. Good natured jabbing among friends is always fun. Being seriously critical over a difference in opinion over such trivial things? Please.

Put your efforts toward something that actually matters. There are tons of issues in the world really worth fighting for. Pick one of those that means something to you and go for it.

Speaking of which, I'm doing a canned food/non-perishables food drive to give to the local food bank. I'm harassing my friends and their families and other people I know. If any of you in the Dallas area that I know want to let me raid their cabinets, let me know. Or you can drop stuff off to me and I'll take it. Or I can pick it up from you if you want to raid your own cabinets. If I don't know you, sorry, I won't be making any house calls to people I don't know for safety reasons. Though, if you're willing to have me come pick some stuff up? Go ahead and put whatever you would be giving me into a bag or box and drop it off. There's always somewhere that needs something. :)

Donations are always nice, too.

Which reminds me. I'm definitely going to be doing the Toys for Tots blog fundraiser again this year. :D And I'll start doing donations and shopping earlier, too. That way I don't have to go all crazy doing the shopping and dropping off so close to Christmas. If you missed that, you should check that out. It was awesome. :D

Anyway...... I haven't blogged about any sports stuff lately. Even with Turco landing in Chicago and Modano going to Detroit, I decided to skip blogging about both of those hockey topics. Maybe I will. Maybe not. I'm going to talk baseball for a minute. Or several. ;)

FUCK YEAH GREENBERG-RYAN! Buh bye Tom Hicks. Now, to get the Stars sold so they can say buh bye to Hicks, too. I was seriously happy Greenberg and Ryan won the Rangers auction. Now, lets get the ball going, lol. I just.... Cuban? No thank you. Stick to the Mavericks buddy, please and thank you. Speaking of.....

The Rangers won against Seattle last night, 11-6. Not bad considering they were trailing 5-2 going into the 5th inning. ;) I would also like to point out that the Rangers now have an 8 game lead over the A's and an 8 (or 9? I don't want to go check, lol) game lead over the Angels holding down the top slot in the American League West. Now, lets hope they beat Seattle again tonight and keep adding wins on to those numbers. :D I just wish I actually got to watch most of the games. It's a bummer only having network TV sometimes, lol. Considering sports are the main thing I like to watch, no sports channels kills me, lol. Oh well, at least I can follow along thanks to the internet. :D

Oh and fuck me, Brandon Boyd (of Incubus fame) has a solo effort out. I fucking love him. His voice slays me. It's so lovely to my ears. I need to hear the rest of this CD. Maybe in a few weeks I'll be able to afford some frivolous little purchases again. :) For now, here's the song and odd but awesome video for "Runaway Train."

And just because, here's the song "Courage and Control" done to a nice little picture show.

Seriously... his voice.... *swoon* And yes, I love Incubus so much they get their own post label, lol. :D

Happy Thursday!

I'm annoyed by this...

Monday was the first day at my new job.

I got there at 7:55 AM. I was due to be in at 8 AM. I'm very punctual. I hate being late for anything. Turns out, punctual isn't important here. My boss didn't show up until 8:40 AM to unlock the doors. She apologized for waiting and said she just didn't feel like getting moving this morning. They open at 9 AM officially so she figured it was no big deal. Right.

Yesterday, I showed up at 8 AM on the dot. For nothing. I waited for an hour. Then found out I wasn't supposed to come in until 11 AM. They were having a supervisor meeting at a conference center so had planned on not having anyone come in until 11 AM. Except, they didn't tell me. They also didn't tell the girl and guy that showed up at 9 AM. Until a few minutes after 9 when someone sent a text to the girl to let us know. Great.

I figured I was up and out but had 2 hours to kill. So, I decided to go run some errands until 11. Around 9:30, I get a call telling me someone is on the way with a key so I can get in because they want me to go ahead and get to work early. I said I was off doing errands and couldn't get back right away. I said I was told to come back at 11 so I figured I had time to go do some things and get back by then. Which I did have plenty of time to do a couple things and get back by 11.
I was met with annoyance because I wasn't sitting in the parking lot waiting. Then I got two more texts asking me if I was done yet and if I was going to be getting back anytime soon.

Seriously? Did they think I was going to SIT IN THE PARKING LOT sweating my ass off (yes, it's humid and hot even that early in the morning) for 2 MORE HOURS and just wait for someone to show up and unlock the doors at 11 JUST IN CASE they changed their mind and decided to come let me in earlier after all? Apparently, yes. HA. And she wonders why she has issues with keeping people she hires.

They are seriously disorganized and it's very frustrating for me. I like a bit of structure and I like some organization. I also don't like to be given a schedule and told to be on time by a boss who can't even get herself there on time. And that is not the only thing like organization and structure. It's very frustrating. I also understand why co-workers have already mentioned they get a lot of complaints and have trouble keeping people around. I can understand why.

*grumble grumble bitch bitch blah blah blah blah grumble grumble*

I won't get into the other stuff. I've bitched enough for today. :)

Happy Wednesday!

A post about Lady Gaga...

I saw something interesting on tumblr and I'm going to post it here because I was thinking it might make for an interesting discussion. I almost never talk about religion on my blog. I'm not religious and it's one of those subjects that people are very touchy about. People who believe in their faith tend to have a hard time accepting people who don't. People who don't believe in anything often have a hard time accepting that even if religion doesn't work for them, that it does work for plenty of other people. They want to throw logic and science around and demand to know why the faithful can't see what's in front of them. The faithful want to argue back because, they have their faith. And so many other variables in between. It's a complex and touchy subject. So, I stay away from it. It's not a subject that I usually even care to engage in because I believe the way I do and it works for me so that's all that matters. I think you can believe the way you want to, just don't try and ram it down my throat or I'm going to get pissed. I digress.

I saw this on Tumblr and thought it was interesting and thought it would also get some interesting responses. Lets hope I'm not wrong, lol.

First, they posted some Lady Gaga lyrics from her song Alejandro.

I don't listen to Lady Gaga, I don't know the song and I don't know the video. She's not my cup of tea so I don't pay a damn bit of attention to her. Anyway, here are the lyrics to her song and if they're wrong at all, my bad I just copied them off the website:

"Don't call my name
Don't call my name, Alejandro
I'm not your babe
I'm not your babe, Fernando

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch
Just smoke one cigarette and run
Don't call my name
Don't call my name, Roberto

(Alejandro
Alejandro
Ale-ale-jandro
Ale-ale-jandro) x2

Just stop
Please, Just let me go Alejandro, Just let me go"

Then the person went on to add this:

Alejandro means man’s defender and protector (God.)

Fernando means ardent for peace (Jesus.)

Roberto means bright or shining fame (Holy Spirit.)

Babe is the same as Child.

Then, they edited the lyrics to Lady Gaga's song:

Don’t call my name, don't call my name, GOD.
I’m not your child, I’m not your child, Jesus
Don’t call my name, don't call my name, holy spirit.
God, just let me go.

Now, don't assume the person who blogged this on Tumblr is an extremely religious person or someone out to get Lady Gaga because you would be wrong in both assumptions.

I also know people are always looking for hidden meanings in songs. Trust me, I listen to a lot of hard rock/metal/death metal and all kinds of really heavy shit. I get that people are always trying to find things that are sometimes not there. I also get that if you look hard enough for something, more often than not, you're going to find it if you twist enough around. But... it's still an interesting thought.

So, what do y'all think?

Happy Wednesday!
