I got an email yesterday from a reader. It was essentially them telling me they love my blog but miss that I don't post as often and were curious why I'm not posting as much.
I work a lot of hours. It's only Wednesday and before I clock in this morning, I'm already at a little over 20 hours for the week. I still work today, tomorrow, Friday & Saturday as well. Then I have my usual Sunday off.
That doesn't leave me a lot of free time for running errands, grocery shopping, getting laundry done or other things that I do need to get done. Let alone free time to sit down in front of my laptop and write for my blog.
Not that I don't miss blogging. Writing is rather therapeutic for me. Even if I'm not purging my soul of something, even when it's just about hockey or boring rambling, it's still good for me. Writing soothes me, helps me de-stress. So I miss blogging for the writing and clearing of my head. I also miss getting comments and chatting with my readers, too. Assuming y'all haven't moved on, haha.
It is cool to have people email me and tell me they miss my blogging and hope I'm doing well, though. :)
Anyway, I'm typing this out on my phone. Just tossed my pants into the dryer a little while ago so I could have some clean to wear to work this morning. I heard a loud something or other banging around in there so I went to check it out. Apparently, I washed my pants from yesterday without remembering to take my Burt's lip balm out and it made it to the dryer where it decided to fall out there instead of in the washing machine. It's all melted and straight liquid right now but at least the cap didn't explode and get liquidy lip balm all over my freshly cleaned work clothes. That really would have sucked.
I'm opening today which means I'm leaving as soon as my clothes dry. And I'll be off around 3 hopefully. I'm going to the Stars game tonight with my mom, LS and YB! So excited for that. Love hockey games and love hanging with my family. :) Also should be meeting some new people at the game tonight at some point. Yay for meeting new Stars fans. And cool new people in general, lol. :D
Okay, my clothes should be done by now so time to put this down and get dressed so I can get to work. Lots to do this morning I'm sure.
