I'm at work right now but literally have nothing else to do. From 2-4 is always pretty slow so there's usually free time to get caught up with stuff. I got caught up this morning so now I'm just taking it easy for a little bit while I have nothing to do and no one bothering me for anything. The phone hasn't even been ringing too much! *knocks on wood* Seriously don't want to jinx that, haha. I'm working 11:30 am to close tonight so I've got plenty of time to get anything done that happens to come up anyway, lol.
Something that annoys me is men hitting on me while I'm at work. I don't mind when guys flirt a little bit sometimes but it depends on how it's done. A flirty comment or two won't bother me. Posting up at the front counter chatting me up while I'm trying to work or stopping me as I'm walking through the dining area and trying to talk to me up will annoy me. Especially once they keep flirting after I've established I'm not interested. Which I tend to do very quickly so there's no misconception going on. That doesn't just apply for the guys that flirt while I'm at work and then keep going once I've said no thanks, though. That applies for men any and everywhere. I'm not one to beat around the bush or try to nicely let someone down. A guy in here earlier was trying to get my number and ask me for drinks. I said, "thanks but I've got a boyfriend and I'm not interested." I still have to be polite because I'm at work and he's a customer but I'm blunt about not being interest. To which he replied, "well how long have y'all been together?" I said we had been together four and a half years and then told him to have a nice day and walked back to the back. He left his number on the front counter for me. Another guy a few nights ago kept asking for my number. Most of the time, I want to say "fuck off, I said I'm not interested." Since I'm at work, I'm sure if I did they would complain to my boss and he'd be on my ass for being unprofessional. So, I tend to come off as rude for being blunt and rather short with them if they keep trying after I've expressed my disinterest. I really don't care that it seems rude. To me, it's rude and disrespectful of them to keep asking after I've already said no and expressed that I'm in a relationship and not interested in them. I just don't understand what it is about some men that they think if they try hard enough, they'll get what they want. Or they think they're so charming or good looking or what the fuck ever that I'll just jump on their dick because they're showing interest. Pffft. Even when I was single, that kind of attitude turned me off completely.
No means no. Not interested means not interested. Back off means back the fuck off. It's all simple. It's not difficult to listen and respect the person saying this stuff to you.
That's my rant for the day. :)
Happy Tuesday!

Go rant! Stuff happens, so I hope the world can accept your honesty. Of course, no one flirts with me. I just wish I were Sting in "Don't stand so close to me" but with Emma Stone.
Take care & keep posting, even from your Blackberry.
The Joker feels this is rude! The dude should go get a clue....
Doesn't the NHL has an app for mobiles? I have one for my iPod and it works well.
Technically, it is your boss' responsibility to provide you with a workplace free of harassment.
If you are being hit on constantly and you are uncomfortable talk to him about it.
I completely agree that a blogger app should be made for blackberry! I do tons of reading and writing on my blackberry.
Oh and ya- a lot of men don't get "no means no".
Hi honey. I so know what you mean with guys that pester. A few guys aat my work place think I must be gay because I say. "No...get away from me."
