The Boyfriend and I went to see OVO by Cirque Du Soleil. The show was amazing. It was my first time seeing a Cirque show and I totally enjoyed it. Yesterday was the last day the show was in town before moving on so I was really happy we got to see it. We originally weren't going to go because the tickets are kind of expensive but The Boyfriend found out he gets discounted tickets through a website because of the company he works for. So, we got 2 tickets for a little more than what 1 cost. If the show comes to your city or a city near you, you should totally go see it. It was so good I wanted to see it again, lol.
After that, we went for a late lunch at my favorite Mexican place.
Then we went to look at furniture, kitchen stuff and etc. We weren't buying anything, just looking to get an idea of what we want and what we'll be getting first when we get our own place again. Which will happen soon if shit with our cars will stop breaking, lol.
After that, we went to check out a few things in a shopping center. Again, didn't buy anything.
Then we went to see a movie. The Boyfriend wanted to see "Drive Angry" so we did. I was hoping it would be good or that the amount of action in it would make up for it being bad but no dice. I'm seriously happy we never pay for movie tickets, lol.
After that, we went to a bar The Boyfriend wanted to check out. They have vintage video games (Pacman, Street Fighter, TRON, Galaga, etc), skee ball, giant Connect Four and Giant Jenga. The giant Jenga was totally fun.
It was a lot of fun and the bar's drinks were super cheap which is also awesome. We didn't play the big Connect Four game they had out on the patio but I want to some time, lol.
I got home and decided in my drunken state that we needed to get Netflix. So, we started our free trial last night and I'm pretty sure we'll keep it once the trial is over.
Monday, I got some errands done and while I was doing laundry I was watching That 70's Show through Netflix... for two and a half hours, lol. Then I had to stop and go to work. I know I'm late on the whole Netflix thing but whatever, we couldn't afford it (and yes, I know it's not expensive but still) and now we can so it's exciting to me, lol. We don't have cable or satellite so now I can watch movies I want without having to hit up a RedBox in hopes they have a movie I want to see. And I can watch the few TV shows I like, too. So, all in all it seems pretty damn cool. :D
Happy Tuesday!
