It's Friday, oh joy.

I was talking to a friend earlier and he was telling me about the few things that bother him about his new girlfriend. He was asking me about how to approach these things with her. He had four things. I told him only one would be worth mentioning and making a point out of. He asked me why. The three things I think he should hush about are just silly quirks that annoy him. They are likely part of what makes her, well, her. If he brings it up, she's likely going to get pissed, feel awkward or get upset. Needlessly so. The thing in relationships, no matter how compatible you are with someone, there is always going to be a thing or two your significant other does that you don't like. There will always be a characteristic that you don't care for. Some things are worth mentioning. Other things, not so much. I don't normally advocate people keeping things, feelings, emotions and the whole lot inside. There are quite a few things but I can never bring myself to say to a couple people. It would be mean. It would also be selfish. I would feel better about it, having got it out there but is it worth it to make someone else feel like crap over something that doesn't matter in the slightest? No. Some things are better left unsaid. In my opinion.

Yes and I don't mind it so much. The biggest downside is snotty customers who treat their servers like shit because they assume they're stupid or some kind of loser or slacker for working a food service job. Sometimes that's true but.... Who would serve your lazy ass if not for them? Stay home and cook or throw something in the microwave if you're going to be an ass to your server for no good reason. Even if it's at a fast food place. I really dislike anyone who thinks they're above a job just because they get paid more than that person or because they have a better job title. I respect people for working. It's better than people who mooch when they could be working. /rant.
