Listerfiend is her mouth troll, isn't it?

Tuesday night Boyfriend and I went out with Foghat. We contemplated going to the bar/club that BF's sister hangs out so we can scope out her current.... love interest. We decided against doing that because I'm not fond of going to bars and night clubs that want to charge you $10 a pop to get in and then charge you outrageously for the food and drinks inside. No thanks. If I feel like being robbed today, I'll go hang around all the hobos in downtown Dallas. The place looks insanely nice and they have awesome looking couches and chairs that I'd be tempted to curl up in sleep in. Along with their see through cloth tapestries and other decorations to look swanky and upscale while keeping a low key dress code so everyone can feel comfy cozy in their upscale atmosphere. I'll pass. We went to the pool hall we frequent instead and shot pool for a few hours. It was fun. Foghat was kicking ass. Our last game, I kicked Boyfriend's ass in 8 ball. I was happy. He's a really great pool player. I never beat him. I was so happy I was jumping up and down. I know, just for beating him in a game of pool. ;)

Today my dad arrives from California. My grandparents 60th wedding anniversary is on Friday. Which also happens to be the 4th of July. We're having a big celebration with them and lots of family members. It's going to be a big deal as it very well should be. Not many people make it to 60 years together. =D

Tonight Boyfriend, myself and my sister are going to see a concert. I'm so fucking excited. The last few shows have been local shows and decent at best. Yay for supporting your friends who have bands! Lol. Tonight is a band I adore and I can't fucking wait! I haven't been to a good show in so very, very long. I am very deprived. Going to concerts is one of my absolute favorite things ever. It's on the top of my list of favorite things to do. It's exhilarating and I just absolutely love going. I'm going to be in my version of heaven for a few hours tonight, hehe.

On to the weirdness! Click the button if you want to play with us!

1. Do you ever do your own fireworks show in celebration of the 4th of July? Do you go watch a display somewhere else? How do you celebrate?
The 4th of July is also my grandparents anniversary. We celebrate the big anniversaries with them by way of a big party with lots of family, food and fun stuff. Not with them, we still celebrate. Immediate family, food, fireworks and whatever else. Sometimes we go some place to watch a display. Other times, we create our own. Mostly, we create our own any more. It's expensive to go pay to watch a show. It's expensive to buy your own but it's much more fun. Yes, we are well supervised and prepared for emergencies. No worries.

2. Do you ever buy extra fireworks while you can to stockpile and have extras packed away for whenever you feel like using them?
Yes. That's all I'm saying. =D

3. Would you ever get anything below the waist pierced?
Who's paying? Lol. No, probably not. I desperately want my eyebrow pierced again. I had to take it out for employment purposes and it's closed up. I can have one again. I miss it, I feel naked without that little piece of metal in my face. I just can't afford to spend the money on that expense right now. Hopefully soon.

4. Would you ever join the military?
Nope. I respect everyone who does. I have several friends, acquaintances and family members who are in one branch of the military or another. It's not something I would ever do. Sorry.

5. What is your favorite kind of cheese?
The shorter question for me is what kind of cheese do I not like. I love cheese. Havarati, Feta, Asiago, Gouda, Parmesan, Pepper Jack, Swiss, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Colby Jack, Smoked Cheddar, Longhorn Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Muenster, Romano and probably some others that I can't remember.

6. What are three things are you terrible at?
-Baking. I can cook pretty damn well. Ask me to make a cake though and you'll be wishing you'd gotten one of the semi-crappy ones from a grocery store instead. I don't get it but I can't bake. I try and it doesn't work out.

-Playing tennis. I suck, plain and simple. It's a sport I am not good at.

-Letting my emotions show.

7. Do you always wash your hands after you use the restroom?
Almost always. I rarely use public restrooms, only if I really need to go. I hate going into them. Blech. At home, sometimes I forget but when I remember, I go back and wash them anyway. Just because. I don't often forget. Sometimes when there is no hand soap, I've used body soap and shampoo out of the shower, lol.

Congratulations to your grandparents. 60 years is a major accomplishment.

And good answers. I can't wait to see the male/female ratio of who washes their hands.

We do a few fireworks at home, but I let my husband attempt to blow his fingers off. I don't go anywhere near them.

Congrats to the grandparents! That's awesome!

I'm going to play for the first time. I can actually answer these questions :)

If I had all the money back from every concert I went to...my money problems would be non existent.

Good post today!

I would feel so stripped bare without my brow pin or my nose ring... Then again - I'd be lost without the tattoo on my cheek too now I suppose though thankfully no one can ever scrape that bugger off lol

You need to try real honest to god Canadian cheddar, its the best in the world.
