I have had people ask, when will I post a picture of me smiling? The truth is, I don't smile very often but I do smile a lot. I just don't do it for no reason. I feel fake putting on a smile for the camera. When you click, you'll see a sort of smile from me. These lilies, they make me smile. It's hard to catch on camera, my smile that is. It always looks goofy to me so I don't often smile for a picture. If I notice someone staring at me, I always flash a small grin so they know I'm not Satan's spawn preparing to eat their soul or anything foolish like that. I hate to look unapproachable because really, I'm sort of a nice person. ;) People just don't tend to see that because of the way I look and the way I act. I could change that I'm sure but I really don't want to because I'm okay being me.... some days.
The pictures this week aren't that great. I almost skipped playing this week. I decided about an hour ago to play, for what reason I'm not sure. I just snapped some using my camera phone and decided to put them up. So, they aren't the best but here we go.

I hate smiling for the camera myself. "Goofy" would be the word I'd suggest for me too. One thing that does make me smile properly, though, is trying to smile at myself in the mirror - it looks so silly, I can't help smiling properly :)

It's your expressive eyes that make your HNT pics so gorgeous each week.
I got a surprise at the first photoshoot my band did. The photographer said we were too bloody miserable to bother. We thought we were smiling, but when the pictures came out we looked really grim. Had to do some work on it for the next one.
You should try just smiling sometimes just for the sake of it. Not to be fake, but just because you don't feel bad. The results can be surprising.

Pretty! When I don't feel like 'doing' my hair, I spray in a leave-in conditioner, then put some gel that is specifically for curls. Then hairspray. I let it dry on its own that way and I end up with a beachy look, not a right out of bed one, lol.
