Anyway......
I don't get to see a lot of movies in the theater because that stuff
is expensive & I can't really afford to go to movies. I also don't
much care for crowded theaters anyway.
I am a fan of RedBox though. I can see a lot of movies from there for
what it costs to see one in the theater.
I do get curious about the stuff in theaters. I received some movie
passes recently and have no clue what to see. So, if you've seen
anything that's currently out, tell me about it! How was it? I always
like hearing people's opinions on movies. Unless you're a film critic,
then, not so much.
Also, what are some good movies you've watched at home lately? I don't
like romantic comedy. I don't like romance movies at all. If it's
considered a "chick flick" then I generally won't care to see it. I
prefer movies with explosions. Comedy that doesn't involve an entire
plot of dating and relationship plots that are cheesy. Suspense flicks
that will have my brain working trying to figure what's what as the
movie unfolds. I like blood and gore movies too but I'm picky, lol.
So, seen anything good lately?

In the theater: Clash of the Titans is AWESOME! I'm going to be seeing Kick-Ass on Friday, so I'll let you know how that was, too. :)
At home: Law Abiding Citizen. Totally wicked.
Im totally not a movie person, but did just see Alice in Wonderland at the theater .. i was impressed! We are looking for something to go see Friday but not sure what it will be yet!
I can't say I watch a lot of films in the theater, since most of my taste runs rather eclectic. I did manage to scarf a copy of the Hurt Locker off the internet a few weeks ago...intense and disturbing, with lots of explosions.
I did manage to come across a LaserDisc (I collect these relics) of a film called Rapa Nuiy (a story about Easter Island) that I found rather interesting, if you want to see how zealot religion can deforest a whole tropical pardise in the name of their god.
As for right now, I managed to download a copy of Federico Fellini's "...and the Ship Sails On".....one of his better works, but very surreal and be preparied to read sub-titles (unless you speak fluent Italian).
Well of course there are some classics that are stellar. Last week I was on the road and when I busted off the TV in the hotel viola!
The Outlaw Josey Whales! The greatest cowboy movie of all time! Or you could do Tombstone. I saw that one with Jennifer Anniston but it wasn't that good. I recommend anything Eastwood is in. If you haven't seen his latest one or Unforgiven you are definately missing out.
Panda: Definitely let me know how Kick-Ass is! Law Abiding Citizen is awesome. We watched that when it first came out & then the boyfriend got it on DVD when it was released. I love it. :D
Pixie: I liked that one too. I'm a big Alice In Wonderland fan so I had to see it. :D
