I'm bouncing off the walls again...

Brought to you by: Amorous Rocker

Whats a word that starts with the third letter of your first name?
Ha, we'll use my blog name for this. Ornate. ;)

What were you doing at ten last night?
Work.

Do you have a blog crush? If so, care to say who?
I might and nope. Not today anyway. ;) =p

When was the last time you had dinner with your father?
Wednesday night.

What kind of chocolate is your favorite?
Dark chocolate is the only kind I like. I'm not a fan of chocolate really though. Caramel though... mmm.

Have you ever had sex in a hotel with the last person you had sex with?
Yes.

How long do you have until your birthday?
Less than one month. June 15th y'all!

What do you want for your next birthday?
Money.

Has anyone upset you in the last week?
Nope.

What's bothering you right now?
This thing, that thing, the other thing.

Would you rather drive a moped or a minivan?
Minivan. At least when it rains, I won't get soaked. I could totally rock a minivan, lol.

The last time you were really annoyed, what caused that to happen?
A guy was really pissing me off by being an obnoxious shit head.

The last person that really annoyed you, what are two things that annoy you most about them?
He has an opinion about everything and his opinion IS the right one.
He talks to everyone like they're 70 IQ points dumber than he is.
He's been there, done that and did it better than you... with almost everything.
He has tantrums when he gets pissed off or annoyed.
You cannot say anything around him without him wanting to stick his nose in and know what's being said and then gets bitchy when you tell him, "Don't worry about it" because it's none of his beeswax.

Okay that was more than two but whatever. This is all fresh on my mind and I can't decide which things annoy me most.

Who are your last 5 text messages from?
Boyfriend, my dad and Philly.

How many times have you gotten into a argument with the last person you spoke in person with?
Countless. Some times they're good natured arguments. Other times, they're very unpleasant. We always work through them.

Have you ever had a panic attack?
Yeah. I almost had one on Monday night when we were walking the bridge. I have issues with bridges and setting foot on them.

Would you date someone who lived in another state?
I do but we were in the same state before I moved, lol. So yeah. I don't think I would try to start a relationship with someone who was in another state.

If you were kicked out of your current residence, what would you do?
Pack up all my important shit, call a cab, head to the airport, get a ticket back home to Texas and then I'd kill time in the airport by calling people to figure out who could pick me and my stuff up, lol.

Do you think relationships are hard?
They can be, yeah. Nothing really worth it ever comes completely easy though. A lot of hard work goes into making a relationship works but it's worth it.

Do you think you have made a substantial difference in any one's life?
I don't know.... I think so.

When was the last time you wanted to punch someone in the face?
All of the time at work, lol. =D

Do you think money buys happiness?
No.

Do you understand football?
Oh yeah. I love football. =D

Who is your favorite basketball team?
Dallas Mavericks!

What sport do you love playing?
Basketball, baseball and hockey.

What kind of phone do you have?
A Samsung Propel.

Do you sing obnoxiously in the car?
I only sing obnoxiously when I'm just fooling around and acting dumb.

Do you know a guy named David?
Quite a few. =)

When is your birthday?
JUNE 15TH!

Ever had a near death experience?
A few. So far, I'm winning.

I'm so happy without you...

It's time for Fuck You Friday! Know what I'm saying fuck you to today?

Backseat drivers.

I can't stand that.

Especially when you're in a city the backseat driver has never even been in before and they STILL think they can direct you every place you need to go. Even though they couldn't tell you where anything is there, they still want to go running their jaws off like an idiot.

I can't stand the backseat driver that chimes in half the car ride with directions and comments about how you should be driving or turn here or blah blah blah but when they do it almost constantly every minute or two? Oh my gosh! Especially when you can't insult them or tell them to zip it enough times to get them to stop it because insulting them and/or telling them to shut their know it all fucking mouth does nothing because they just don't care.

Pretending to ignore them works okay though. If they're not one to do it constantly but just here and there, I can handle that.

Someone who does it continually and doesn't shut up though? Being a sarcastic little ass makes me feel a little better some times too. Like when they warn you to get out of a lane because you some how might not see that big ass FedEx/UPS truck parked in the street or telling you to pick another street because hey, you can't go back down a one way street in the opposite direction. Then a smart ass comment to follow those necessary tips might shut them up for a couple minutes. Maybe.

Oh and no, I've never been a driver having to deal with a backseat driver. Only an annoyed passenger wishing the driver would say shut the hell up since the backseat driver doesn't listen to other passengers. Even when they're threatening maiming and death.

Even when I want to go nuts on the backseat driver that constantly feels the need to chime in every few minutes with a new direction or some other notion, if the actual driver is ignoring them and asks me to just bear with it and try to tune them out, I'll be nice. Actually, I'll just be respectful to the driver and skip out on finding some object in the car to smash over the mouthy little passenger's head.

We hear folks in the city party in Martini Bars...

I transferred the camera pictures over to my computer and I'm going to post a few of those here. When I get the ones off my digital camera uploaded, I'll post a link on here for y'all to go see. I'll be uploading those to my neglected Flickr account, lol. I take way too many pictures. Goodness.

I neglected to mention where it was we would be taking a road trip too when I mentioned we were heading out Tuesday morning. One of my favorite cities is San Francisco. I've been there. I have a friend who lives there (but he's on an extended stay in Amsterdam right now, lucky ass) and another who recently just moved from there. I fell in love with that city the first day I was in it. I know a lot of people can't stand it, a lot of people think this this and that about it, blah blah blah. Whatever, I don't care. A lot of people think California as a whole is a great state but we won't debate that right now, lol. Anyway... A few years ago, I actually contemplated moving there. I probably would have had lack of money and the inability to find an available, affordable apartment not been an issue. Things work out how they do for whatever reasons, I didn't move there and I met my boyfriend instead shortly there after. I can't complain about that at all. Back to the present.

We got there early Tuesday. We stayed at the Parc55 Hotel. It was pretty sweet. I totally plan to stay there again next time I'm in San Fran and have the need for a hotel room.

Here are a few shots from the room.

Our view from the 16th floor:

Our room television. I had it on Discovery, one of my favorite channels while CL ironed a shirt and Boyfriend took a quick shower.:

The super comfy beds that I wanted to steal the pillows and bedding off of when we were leaving Wednesday afternoon. Me and boyfriend with our backpacks had the left and CL and his bulky suitcase had the right:

The hotel bar. The lighting was too dim but they had an awesome set up. Totally classy but very warm and comfortable as well. We were watching ESPN while we had some drinks:

And this is probably the best Mojito I've ever had in my life and I've had a LOT of Mojitos before but DAMN, this one was so good I actually drank it slowly so I could make it last and really enjoy it, lol:

Boyfriend had to check out Alcatraz (pictures later to be uploaded to my Flickr) and of course, the sea lions:

Later in the night Tuesday, after walking a shit load and riding street cars all over the place, we headed back to the hotel and changed clothes. It was time for some fun times involving alcohol, loud music and whatever else. First, food. All the walking will get your tummy rumbling ya know. ;) We debated over a few places but settled on a place and set off in the general direction of the place we settled on. While walking, we passed something else and decided we would rather his that place instead since it looked cool, lol. After checking the menu outside, we decided to go in to Lori's Diner. It's a 50's style place, you enter downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. They have a wide variety of breakfast and dinner items on the menu and they serve stuff you would expect to find in a place themed after a 50's diner. It was a cool atmosphere, friendly people and the food was good.:

Wednesday morning, after we checked out of the hotel, we went driving around and ended up at the Golden Gate Bridge. Neither Boyfriend or CL had ever been to SF before and it was something they wanted to see. I didn't mind. I love going and seeing everything there, even if I've seen it before.:

Shortly after that, we headed back through SF for the last time. We got some lunch and then started the trip back to where I live currently. We got back Wednesday evening in time for the barbecue my family was having.

Also in time to see the third period and the OT for game 5 of the Detroit and Chicago game. I can't believe I'm saying this and can't believe I've been doing this but, I've been cheering for Detroit to win the series. I knew the Pens were going to take out the Canes and didn't want to see the Blackhawks face the Pens. It's a rematch of last years Stanley Cup and I'm not sure which team I hope for a win out of. I don't like Detroit and I don't really like Pittsburgh either. Both teams have a few players I particularly like (Henriq Zetterberg, Niklas Lidstrom and Brian Rafalski for Detroit & Max Talbot, Miroslav Satan and Marc-Andre Fleury
for Pittsburgh) though. So, meh. It should be a damn good series though. Too bad I have to miss most of the games due to work. At least I can follow them here and there on my cell though. ;)

Happy Thursday!

Nobody wants to be the last one there...

Boyfriend is here. =) He's been here several days actually.

I've been too busy running around with him and CL the last few days in between working and sleeping to do much online. I haven't done the sleep thing much either but luckily I don't require a lot of that stuff. Fun times. =D

We're embarking on a mini road trip right now. I'm just waiting for the boys to be ready to go, lol. So no real post today and I'll probably not have much tomorrow even though we'll be back tomorrow evening. Though I will update tomorrow night so I can play Wednesday Weirdness probably.  Might even have some cool pictures to show off too. ;)

We went on a little exploration trip last night and I got some cool pictures of what we ventured out to see. So I'll have to post those soon too.

Watching guys try to skip rocks and fail misrerably is slightly entertaining by the way. ;)

Have a great day y'all!

XoXo

X is just to mark the spot because that's the one you really want...

BoldWhy aren’t you with the person you were first in love with?
I'm smart. Ha! Also because things didn't work out between us and ultimately, that was for the best.

If the year consisted of only one season, which would you choose?
Spring or Fall, definitely.

How are you feeling?
I feel like tacos. Mmmm, tacos.

Has anyone ever told you that you resemble a celebrity?
Yeah, several. One I don't get (well technically I don't get/see any of the ones that get mentioned!) is Christina Ricci. Seriously people? She's pretty damn hot.

How would you feel if your last ex fell in love with someone else?
I wouldn't feel anything due to the fact that I wouldn't know because I never speak to him nor do I care what he does as long as he leaves me alone, lol.

What is a movie you can quote?
"Don't be so unkind. You may not survive to pass this way again, and these be the last friendly words you'll hear...."

Do you dress for style or comfort?
I dress for comfort and whatever I like. Never stylish or trendy but I really don't care.

Have you ever been given a rose?
Do not give me a rose. I hate roses.

Who's the last person you got in a yelling fight with?
A friend.

Is anyone in your family in the military?
Yeah, a few.

Do you own a pair of slippers?
Nope.

Would you run around your neighborhood at night for 5 minutes without a shirt on for $1,000?
Hell yeah!

Which one of your friends would you swap eyes with, if you had to?
Fangs. He has such pretty eyes. Or any of them that have green eyes.

Would you ever get your nipples pierced?
Been there, done that. Might do it again.

Has someone ever spread a nasty rumor about you?
Yeah but whatever. People talk, I don't care what most of them say and the people who really matter don't listen to petty gossip and ridiculous rumors.

Are you easy to get along with?
Depends.

Would you rather pierce your tongue or lip?
Tongue. I don't think I would look good with a lip ring sadly.

Were you ever been sent to the office at school because your outfit was inappropriate for school?
Nah, lol.

What's usually colder, your hands or your feet?
Feet! They're like ice.

Do you like competition?
Yes, I do.

Do you Twitter?
Yes, I do. Do you?

Do you like hot, spicy foods?
HELL YEAH!

What is your favorite type of material when it comes to bedsheets?
Jersey knit cotton or high thread count Egyptian cotton. Mmm. My bed is a sanctuary.

What is your favorite sweet treat?
Ice cream!

Do you think making out is slutty?
Generally, no. Making out is hot. During a funeral, while you're in a church service, during a wedding ceremony where you're neither of the two being wed; totally tasteless and trashy.

What is keeping you warm right now?
Socks, pajama pants and your girlfriend my UT Longhorns blanket.

Do you have any dirty pictures on your cellphone?
If by "dirty" you mean "impressive and astounding" then yes, yes I do.

Happy Saturday!

E is for the ecstasy....

At work, we use limes a lot. We make a lot of drinks that have lime and that generally requires me to squeeze a fresh lime or two in the almost finished product. You know what I hate? When you have a cut on your finger or your hand and don't realize you have a cut. Then you go to squeeze a lime and BAM! You now know there's a tiny little cut of some sort where some small amount of lime juice just ran in. I hate that and it happens at least a couple times a week at work. I also hate when I squeeze and the lime juice squirts up into my eye. Ouch! That's a good way to kill your eye make-up and irritate your eye.

Last night at work was so busy. I worked 4:30 pm to close but it didn't seem like a long time. We were so busy the time just flew by quickly. We also could have used two more people on the floor to help things run a bit more smoothly and quickly but it was kind of fun in chaos and having so much to do and being overwhelmed at times helped the time go by even more quickly. We were behind at the end of the night but we caught up on getting everything cleaned and stocked up and made it out by 12:40 am. I hope the weather stays nice all weekend. People come out more when the weather is nice and I like being busy. *grin* The only thing that sucked was that I had to clean one of the frozen drink machines and I got my hand messed up twisting the center piece with the blades back in. One of my fingers got caught between a metal part and something and I scraped some skin off and maybe sprained my finger. Kinda hurts but not so bad. Stupid frozen drink machines! I hate cleaning those things. They're such a pain in the ass.

Check this out...

The cherries we've had at work lately are so big, lol. Granted, I don't have very large hands but seriously, that is one big cherry! Everyone at work who eats cherries has been snagging these and eating way too many. Including me. I eat a few cherries most nights anyway because well, I love cherries. Mmmm.

I get to see my boyfriend tonight! Of course, he gets in while I'm at work but he's going to come up to my job and get a drink and some food. Oh and visit with me a little bit too. ;) I'm excited though. CL is coming with him but CL is only staying a few days. He just wants to visit, check out the beach and some girls and some stuff worth seeing. It'll be nice seeing him too.

I love fresh clean sheets. It feels so good to come home after work, take a nice shower and then slip into bed with fresh, clean sheets. They still smell like fabric softener and they're so soft and comfy feeling.

About that shower though... I was so tired by the time I got home. I worked my ass off at work and the night before, I hadn't slept much and what I didn't sleep wasn't very restful. So I was tiiired. I'm standing under the shower head, enjoying the warm water cascading down my body. I was washing my hair and then rinsing it. I stood there a minute and just enjoyed the warmth of the water as it fell over me and relaxed me. After about five minutes, I finally moved again to grab the body wash and the puffy thing I use with the body wash. I started cleaning my body off and when I got to my legs and then to my feet, I realized that the water wasn't draining. I was standing in the shower with the non-draining water about two inches over my ankles and not very far from the top of the tub. I seriously was so tired and relaxed that I hadn't noticed the water wasn't draining until I had gone to scrub my legs and feet. Oops, lol. I semi freaked out and went to find out why the hell the damn thing wasn't draining and found out the stopper must have fallen off the ledge without me noticing and actually landed right in the position it would be in if I were trying to hold in the water. Oops. Seriously don't know why it took me so long to realize the damn water wasn't draining. At least I noticed before it was over flowing into the floor. ;)

Happy Friday!

S is for the simple need....

I get to see my boyfriend this weekend! I get to see my boyfriend this weekend! I just saw him for 9 days in April but whatever, it's about time to see him again. On Monday, the 25th, it will be our 3 year anniversary. Aww. I'm not too big on celebrating anniversaries honestly but my guy likes to do it so I don't mind. It makes him happy and we end up having fun so it's all good.

I got this pretty cool looking wrist cuff yesterday. It caught my eye because I thought it looked like Tetris blocks and I freely admit it, I'm a Tetris freak. I'm addicted to that game. I also rock at it.

Something else that caught my eye was a pretty awesome key chain. I'm not one of those types who has a million dangling things on their key chain. That shit annoys me. I have several keys, an angel key ring and a mini bottle opener that I've had on there since I was 16, lol. That bottle opener has served me well and continues to do so! When I saw this thing though, I had to have it.

*click*

Cool huh? I thought so. Fitting too. =) And yeah, I'm totally wearing lipstick in that third picture and it's NOT black lipstick. Which is something I rarely ever do. Lip balm, I wear every day to keep my lips all soft and smooch friendly. Lip gloss, I wear sometimes when I go out. Lipstick that's black, I wear when I'm going out and it's fitting with what's going on. Lipstick that's not black? I can count on one hand the number of times I've worn that, including this one, lol. I still just prefer to wear lip balm. I like the natural color of my lips so I never see much need to add more color to them. Unless it's black then you know... that's fine. =)

I've got some new ideas bouncing around in my head. Of course I don't want to say what they are right now but they've got potential I think. I came up with one of these ideas just yesterday and I'm starting to look in to how I can make it work. If I end up getting it all together, y'all will totally know about it. I have to advertise somewhere for free you know. ;) I'm excited though.

Happy Thursday y'all!!!!!
