My hair was a mess, thankfully that wild style isn't too visible in this shot. I actually like my hair to look a mess. It's funny because people see it like that and sometimes mention how it will suck when I brush the tangles out. It isn't tangled. My hair is naturally a wavy/curly mess and even when I take the measures to straighten it, humidity or heat in general kills any attempt I made to straighten. It's not tangled, just messy and wild. It's usually easy to brush out but if I brush it, it puffs out. I'd rather have messy hair over it puffing out, thank you. =)
I was reading Dana's TMI Tuesday post yesterday and she mentioned reading Reader's Digest. I commented that I always enjoyed reading that periodical myself. Her response was that she couldn't believe I read Reader's Digest. I didn't think it would be a surprising fact. Just something fairly boring that I mentioned because I rarely know people who read it aside from my parents. My parents are the ones who got me into reading them. There were always stacks around me growing up. I started thumbing through them as a kiddo just to read the jokes. I got a little older and appreciated some of the ironic pieces in there. I got older and started reading the fun stuff and tons of the articles. I find them to be fairly informative and definitely interesting. There are always the things to amuse me if none of the articles interest me. That rarely happens though. I kind of grew up with those around and always enjoyed them. When I moved out, I'd visit my mom and always check to see if there were new ones there for me to go through. Now that I live with my family again, at least for the next year, I have them available to me all the time. =)
By the way, I am feeling a lot better today. Thanks for the comments and e-mails wishing me well. Y'all rock.
ANYWAY... On the the weirdness! =)
1. Would you rather be 3 inches taller, or 3 inches shorter than you already are?
Three inches taller, definitely. I'm 5'7" as it is but with my boyfriend being 6'8", I'll take being taller, lol. I also always wanted to be about 5'9" I have no idea why but yeah, lol. I already have issues buying pants because I have long legs. Most of my height comes from my legs and I have to buy "long" jeans and pants. Sometimes those aren't even long enough. I hate buying jeans and pants. It takes forever to find something long enough that fits well.
2. What are 3 words that could never be used to describe you?
Conceited. I could never be described as that. I don't have the self esteem to be conceited about my looks or anything else, lol. That's not to say I'm not confident because I am fairly confident. I hate conceit.
Docile. Lol. Just.. no, not me, not ever.
Predictable. I don't try to be unpredictable, it just seems to happen that way, lol. I love to plan and I also love to be spontaneous. I'm very random and quirky. I also tend to dislike routine and repetition. I'm also just weird and sometimes it's hard to guess how I'll react to something. Sometimes my reactions and decisions surprise me, lol.
3. If you could have any 3 materialistic things in this world tax free without paying a single cent for any of them, what would they be and why?
My dream house. I have it in my mind what and where my dream house will be but for now, I wouldn't be able to afford it myself. I seriously hate apartments, townhouses, condos and the like. I can't wait for the day I no longer have to live in them.
A car. Since this is unrealistic and I don't have to do any work for it other than say what I want and there it is. I want... A 1977 Pontiac Trans Am in amazing condition set up just the way I want it done in black cherry with black interior. Le sigh. A 1985 Trans Am would do nicely too. ;)
A new tv. Flat panel HDTV. Watching football and hockey on a big screen high defnition television is a-ma-zing.
4. Have you ever eaten something at the grocery store while you were shopping, prior to buying it? Did you pay for it when you got to the check out line ?
I can't recall ever doing that actually. I've been with people who have done that. A few of those times, they tried to discard the bottle or package to avoid paying for it but I suck and wouldn't let them. Sure it's only $3 or $4 but still.
5. Have you ever fallen asleep or nodded off during sex before?
Fallen asleep, no. Nodded off, sort of. Not with my current guy but with a friend with benefits back in the day, lol. When he was under the influence, it wasn't his best time for performing. I learned not to bother when he was intoxicated.
6. What are 3 jobs you’d leave your current job for? If you don't have a current job, just list 3 jobs you would like to have. Rock star. It's a job, lol. Sort of. My problem with that is that I'd never make a good celebrity. I'd hate the attention. I'd actually be happy to be a 5 year person that's big for 5 years and then just goes away. I'd save up money well and then I could fade away and no one would care what I did after I faded far enough away. Theoretically, of course.
Business owner. I fully know and understand all the hard work that goes in to running your own business because of growing up around a parent who runs their own business. I love being involved with that though and I aspire to own my own business one of these days. I love the constant challenge it gives you. Sure, it's stressful and it's a headache but I do well with that stuff because it's a challenge to me. It's a lot of the same things but it's also different from day to day.
Doctor. Duh. =) Don't you read here at all?
Other notable mentions are: Writer, professor, artist, dancer (NOT a stripper, pervs), broadway star, forensics, fbi, fire fighter and architecture.
7. Do you or have you ever answered the phone during sex?
I have at least once that I remember. A friend of mine called 5 times in a row. I turned the phone on silent and then the guy's phone started going off with that friend calling him to try and reach me since they were mutual friends because of me. I snatched up the phone and asked what was so urgent. He was drunk and wanted to tell me about how he finally hooked up with the girl he had been chasing for months on end. I told him I was fucking, that I would call back later and not to bother me again until then. He laughed his ass off and I hung up and put that phone on silent too.
Another time, was when I was fooling around with a girl from work when I was 16 and it was her that answered the phone. It was her mother and she had one of those who would go out looking for her if she didn't answer the call. So she answered the call and kept messing around with me slightly for the 15 minutes the call took, lol. =) That was a fun trip to the mall.
Happy Wednesday Y'all! =)

Have I mentioned how cute and adorable you are? Not lately? ~wink~
Your hair looks hot messed up. Also, it makes people wonder why it is messed up. Is it because you didn't have time to do a thing with it? Is it because you didn't have time to do a thing with it because of sultry sexy fun times delaying you? Oh to wonder. Hehe.
Your answer for number 2 is spot on for you! Number 6, good choices for you! I can see you doing well in the business world. Your number 7 is GREAT!
ily. :)
Glad that you are feeling better. I loved the answers.
I also read Reader's Digest.
I also read Reader's Digest. Although it's not something I advertise... if it's there, I'll read it. It's reassuring that I'm not the only one in our age bracket. :-)
I think mostly every female out there would rather be taller. Heck, I'm not even 5' yet! I'm screwed when I get older. You know, they say you shink. Eeeekk!
Great answers!
Reader's Digest kicks ass! I had a subscription not too long ago. Then again I'm 40 and you're not, would that still be considered young enough for people to think it was odd that I read it?
Also glad to see you are not giving up on your Stars just cause you aren't in Texas anymore, you must be a real fan. I can't wait for hockey to start, we are going to kick your arse all over the ice this year! GO BLACKHAWKS!
Loved the answers - WOW, 6'8"!!!!! :) Happy Wednesday :)
Oh man, I was soooo into Reader's Digest when I lived at home. My mom even got the books that had several stories from the magazine in them, and I devoured those.
We're all dorks. ;)
Glad you are feeling better.
You boyfriend is 6'8? Damn girl! I bet nobody and I mean nobody fucks with him!
Great answers sweetie!
I used to read Reader's Digest, but I don't see it around too often anymore.
Macabre Girl:
Not lately but that's because you're in London, not Texas and our time zones clash terribly. Then again, I'm in Ca so... still time zone clashing, lol.
Thank you. Perv.
Thank you, you're full of the praise today little one, hahahah. =D
Another Suburban Mom:
Thank you! i'm glad to be feeling better. I hate feeling "not" me. Thanks!
Aha! Another RD reader, sweet. =D
Tink:
Ha cool! Good to know. I don't normally advertise it either, lol. =D
I heard that but I don't want to shrink, lol. I'd like to keep growing. I'm certain I got screwed out of a growth spurt or two. I think all the growing went to my chest and skipped me over in height. Damn!
Thank you!
Wil:
Hell yeah! I dunno about that. Hmm. I didn't think it was odd that I read it actually but... *shrugs*
Oh hell yes I'm staying a Stars fan! I'm already planning on making it to San Jose when Dallas plays them this coming season. Oh I'm gonna be in the Shark Tank in one of my Stars shirts. Woohoo! Good luck to your 'hawks but I don't see that happening buddy. ;)
Baby :
Thanks! =D
Biscuit:
Lol! Oh wow, my mom has those too. I forgot about them. Ahaha.
I don't mind being a dork. =D
Rage:
Thanks!
Haha, occasionally a less than smart person will but usually no one fucks with him. =D
Thanks!
Aha.. more people read it than I would have thought. ;)
Nothing wrong with mess hair :) Your boyfriend is tall! Just put on some sexy high heels for him ;)
