Swimming in watermelon syrup.

1. Have you ever had a moving violation? An auto accident?
That was your fault?
Nope, nope and nope. I've been in a couple accidents but they've never been while I was driving. I've always just been a passenger in them and generally the people I was with were not the ones at fault either.

My driving record fucking rocks. :D Seriously. No tickets, no accidents, zilch. The no tickets things is mostly in part to me being able to talk myself out of them the few times I have gotten pulled over. I'm sure the big eyes and boobs don't hurt either.

2. Have you ever voted? How old was your were you the first time you voted?
Yes. I know there are other things I can vote on, aside from the presidential election, far more regularly but I usually don't unless it's something I feel something for.

3. Are you glad this election cycle is over?
Gosh yes! I'm so sick of the million lawn signs littering peoples yards, banners flying around everywhere, buttons pinned here, random people death glaring other people because they saw the opposing sticker on someone's car or blah blah blah. Sick of the ads. Sick of changing the dial on the radio because all the radio dj's want to throw in their 10 minute long tirade. Sick of the news being filled with it. And no offense to anyone at all but I've been skipping political posts recently on blogs that have a hundred political posts on them. I don't mind a few here and there but when you're posting three and four a day, please don't be offended when I pass them by as generally, it's all repetition by now. Just formed by different phrases with different words. Blahblahblah. I am glad it's almost all done but I worry about the outcome and the end.

4. Do you have guilty pleasure? What is it (or are they)?
Who doesn't?

Music and books are two big ones. I often skip doing things I should be doing in favor of reading or listening to music. Or reading while listening to music. Oooh la la.

Warm teas are another one. I love good tea.

Socks are another. I love knee high socks. I buy so many pairs. I just love them. I feel warm, comfortable and strangely cute wearing them.

Pajama bottoms and lingerie. I have more than I need. Again, I just love them.

Cuddling. Only with my boyfriend though. I never cared for cuddling much before him. Not sure why. Don't care to psychoanalyze it either since it doesn't matter why.

Rum and dark chocolate. Not together though. :D

5. What is the most embarrassing thing you have done recently?
No clue. I don't embarrass easily so I can't think of anything.

*Bonus* How much impact has the Wall Street and general economic wilt had on you?
Not much. I was poor before it happened and I'm still poor. Okay, a little more seriously though, it hasn't impacted me a lot. My bad habits got cut down because I was more careful with that I spent my money on. I eat out less. I buy less things I don't really need. I didn't buy expensive things, gadgets or toys much before but I did splurge on little inexpensive things I wanted. I cut back on that. That's about it and none of that could be considered as really bad. Other things such as savings, investment in stocks and etc? I don't have my hands in anything like that. So... :) Things will pass and it will get better eventually.

Wednesday Weirdness is tomorrow. I'm up for the questions tomorrow and thankfully, I already have them worked out. I'll post them up this evening at some point.

So it's Tuesday. Which means no work tonight. It also means I'm having a poker game with my youngest brother. He loves Texas Hold 'Em and I dig it too. We also both like a few other poker games. We don't play for money. He's 13 and has no money and I'm poor so we just play for fun and it definitely is fun usually. He's such a goofy, rambunctious little fella. :)

I was at work Monday night and found myself staring into a bottle of watermelon flavored syrup used to flavor drinks. The bottle is clear and I was looking into the liquid and got the random idea that if a tiny little faerie managed to get in there when it was half full, it could swim around in watermelon flavor all day long. Then I wondered if it would turn the little faerie the bold red color of the syrup from being in there for so long. If it splashes on the skin, it tints you a little red until you scrub your hand in warm water and soap. Then I got to looking around for something a little faerie might build a swing inside the bottle. You know, so it could have a place to sit and even swing. When she got tired of swimming around in the sugary syrup. These are the kinds of things I think of when I'm extremely bored at work.

Happy Tuesday!!!

Now the biggest question for ya is this...

If the fairy were able to get in that bottle, do you think that the fairy would call up the other fairies and have a fairy party in the bottle, too?

Loved the questions!
