Drawing near... :)

If you're here for Wednesday Weirdness, it's below this post. So scroll on down or click here to go right to it.

Did you see my new nails? In January, you'll see more of them. I might not have them by then but I got some pictures to use later on featuring them and various other things. :)

2008 is almost over! Celebrating New Years Eve is always fun. Except this year... I'll be at work most of the night, lol. I may have other plans later on but you'll have to read about that else where. :) Though work should be good. Hopefully the night won't drag on forever. Right? Right. I'll be thinking of everyone out having fun or at home enjoying loved ones company while I'm at work pestering people there. ;)
If you're going out to celebrate, use your head and be smart about it. Be safe and have a great time!

HNT_1

The theme for the final HNT of 2008 is Year's Favorite HNT. Thankfully you pick the favorite of all your own pictures. If I had to pick a favorite person who plays, I'd skip it because I'd never be able to narrow it down. As it was, I couldn't pick just one of my own personal favorites. I'm doing two things here. One part will be favorite HNT posts. I rarely just post pictures with my shots and some of the posts I've done have been my favorites ones, even if the picture was only decent to me. The second part will be showing y'all what pictures of me were my favorite to show. Fun huh?

For my favorite HNT posts of the year. I had several non-hnt favorite posts of the year because hey I post some awesome shit right? Kidding, sort of. I did have some posts I enjoyed writing quite a lot and was proud of buuut I decided not to use them since I'm doing this for HNT. So in sticking to my favorite HNT posts of 2008, I couldn't decide between two so I picked them both. Raw and You Get Me. The best thing about being apart from my boyfriend, in fact one of the only plus sides to it, is that I appreciate him so much more than I did when I was around him every day. I was taking him for granted and I never knew it until I didn't have him near me every day. I didn't realize just how much he helped me in various ways until I was without and 2,000 miles away from it. I also didn't realized what it truly is to love someone and learned some new emotions. Sorting them out sucked because I don't do emotions (aside from anger and other bad ones) very well. I think I made the pictures in both fit the words and the meaning pretty well too. :)

Now for the pictures! I admit, I felt a tiny bit narcissistic looking through pictures of myself and trying to pick the best of the best, lol. Oh well.

Why are the ones I picked my favorites?

1. A favorite because I had had had to have a candy cane shot and that was my favorite picture out of all my holiday shots.

2. That picture was an accident and it turned out to be really cool. I liked it enough that I deleted the one I had been trying to get and kept that instead.

3. Those pictures were so much fun to do! The black rose series was my favorite series I did all year. I had fun with them despite how serious and moody they turned out.

4. I like the shadow and the light and how my eyes look in this one. This one is my favorite picture to display my eyes.

5. I picked the fifth one purely because the lily pictures got the biggest response of any series or any picture that I've ever posted. The pictures remind me of the flowers I got and remind me of how sweet my boyfriend is.

Wednesday Weirdness

I just realized that I skipped doing Wednesday Weirdness #33 and #35. I'll still be skipping #35 since there are some questions I'd prefer not to answer here. :) I did the questions for #33 and I did this weeks as well. *Someone* bitched at me saying I couldn't skip my own questions. Technically, I can. I do what I want. =) Except I like the questions and wanted to do them, I just didn't have the time to get to them.

So lets starts with #33 and then we'll move on to this weeks Weirdness.

Wednesday Weirdness #33

1.) Do you get along with your significant others parents?

I get along well with his mom. Initially I thought she hated me but I know better now. She spoils me, lol. :)

2.) Have you ever stolen a tip from a table while eating at a restaurant? If you saw someone doing this, would you speak up or pretend you never saw anything?

I never have and wouldn't do that. That's shitty. Servers work hard for those tips most of the time and it's a bitch move to steal them. If I saw someone doing it, I'd go find a manager or the server and let them know.

3.) Do you have any sexual fantasies that you’d never admit to anyone?

One.

4.) What smells do you find comforting?

Fresh baked bread, chocolate chip cookies, spaghetti, vanilla, a tropical scent, black cherry, fabric softener, a certain shampoo, roses, fresh cut grass, the smell before it rains and fresh linen. Some remind me of home, some remind me of my boyfriend's home, some remind me of my boyfriend, some remind me of others I'm close to and some just are flat out comforting for reasons I don't understand, lol.

5.) Do you ever resent your significant other for not earning more money? Do you ever find yourself jealous because your SO earns more money than you?

No and no.

6.) If you had to wear a Halloween costume for 3 hours a day, ever day, for the rest of your life, which would it be and why?

Probably something like a vampire or maybe a gothy nurse. I had a better answer in mind when I wrote this question and now I can't fucking remember it, lol. =)

7.) Have you ever had sex with someone and kept a piece of their undergarments or anything else for any reason? Have you ever had someone want or try to keep something of yours?

No! I never wanted to keep any items from anyone. I did have some want to keep something of mine and a couple times I came up with items that went missing.

Wednesday Weirdness #36

1.) Have you ever stolen anything from a relatives house?

Not that I can remember. A lighter from a cousin but I think I gave that back, lol.

2.) If you had to changed lives with a friend from your real life for a day, which would you choose and why?

Oh gosh. Probably Philly. I'd get to see what it's like to be a dude for a day and I wouldn't have to do much that I don't already do as Philly and I are so much alike, even in our daily endeavors. It'd be cool to see the snow and only have to deal with it for a day too. Plus I'd totally raid his CD collection. =D

3.) Name at least one place where you would never have sex.

My boyfriend's mom's bed. Eww.

4.) If you could change one personality trait in you significant other, what would you change and why?

My guy is pretty awesome but I'd change the way he loses track of time and make it so he was more conscious of time.

5.) How important is the mood and setting to you when it comes to sex? (Do you need certain things to set the mood to really enjoy it, etc)

Mood and setting is nice. I like really dim lighting and candles are nice for scent and dim light. With my current boyfriend though, I really don't need anything more than just being turned on. I'd forget all about lighting, build up and everything else once we get going. I get lost in the moment with him more often than not so I'm not conscious of much more than him and I.

6.) Which is worse, bad sex or no sex? Why?

Bad sex. Either way, I'd end up having to get myself off. Bad sex I would have to get myself off after and it's a little awkward because I wouldn't fake it if it were bad. I'd just stop and say I wasn't feeling it and yeah. Past experience proves that to be awkward, lol. At least with no sex you don't have to deal with anyone other than yourself.

7.) On a scale of 0 to 10, how much of a compulsive spender would you say you are?

What store am I in? I'm about a 2 or 3 I think in most places. In Best Buy and Barnes & Noble, I'm a 7 or 8. I'm horrible in both of those stores because there's always so much I want and I can always break my resolve with, "It's only a ten dollar book" or "It's only thirteen dollars for a CD, you'll spend it somewhere else anyway" and yeah, lol.

8.) Have you ever left a restaurant without paying the bill? Why?

I don't ever recall doing this. There have been times where I wanted to and considered doing so but don't think I ever did. Bad karma ya know. Oh and a pesky little conscience.

That's all for the Weirdness. Want to come play with us? It's fun. =)

Works all day but she lives for the night

Monday at work was soooooo effing boring. I think that is the slowest night I have worked ever. We went through several periods where we had absolutely no customers at all. I mean, only the employees were there and waiting. Looking out the windows, hoping that every car coming into the parking lot towards us was going to be coming in for some food or even just some drinks. Mostly, not so much. It SUCKED and I ended up heading out early. They closed with only three people, one manager included. It sucked, lol. Mondays are always slow but damn! Then again, after Christmas is always slow because everyone spent so much money on gifts, holiday stuff and everything else.

I had some things to pick up after work. Body wash, mascara, deodorant and etc. I decided I wanted to do my nails but I don't have the money to go get them done all snazzy like in a nail salon. I also hate going in there anyway, heh. I feel awkward in girly like establishments such as nail salons or hair salons. I'm not a very girly girl and would rather spend my time pampering myself with a drink in a sports bar while a good game is on but I digress. So while store bought fake nails aren't as nice as fancy ones from a nail salon, they aren't too bad and it's worth it for me to not have to go sit in said girly establishment and feel weird. Also, they were 5 bucks and I'm on a budget. I found a set I liked and added them to the stuff I was getting.

Here they are.

That mess in the background behind my big thumbnail would be the organized mess of products cluttering up the bathroom counter. Of course, the nails with the stars on them appealed to me but red and black? Hell yeah. =) It was the last package out of those too. Though I did contemplate black and white checked tips with a skull pattern on the nail. The stars won over though since I love love love stars.

And of course, I took more than two pictures but you'll have to wait to see them. Get your mind out of the gutter freaks, just for a second anyway. I just don't want to overload the post with pictures, ya know? Right. I dunno why I decided I wanted some snazzy looking nails but meh, once in a while the mood hits. The hardest part for me is leaving them on actually. I LOVE popping them off, heh.

Okay so you see the nails and now we move on.

Driving home last night from work sucked. There was super dense fog and visibility was terrible. I'm going along slow and safely and I see a doe chillin at the side of the road starting to edge her way out and moved on over in case she was going to dart out. Going on a little further. Visibility worsens and then there's another doe coming out onto the interstate. I slide over and avoid another one. I go along a while longer, anxious because I can see about three feet in front of me and then BAM! There's a BIG ASS BUCK in the middle of the fucking interstate. It's a two lane area right there and this huge thing is standing in the middle of the road so he's got one half in one lane and the other half in the other lane. I'm about to hit the son of a bitch and fuck if it wouldn't KILL the car and probably do some damage to me as well. My quick logic was he had been moving to the left before he stopped for whatever reason so hopefully he would keep on trucking that way. I got lucky and he did haul ass to the left while I moved right and hit the shoulder. Third fucking deer I had seen and almost hit that night but that one had been way way closer than the other two had been. It scared the shit out of me and I had a panic attack. I was maybe 8 miles from home but I was freaking out thanks to the panic attack and I got it in my head that I must be destined to hit a fucking deer at some point tonight. So I called my mama, hyperventilating and trying to remember how to breath and explained what happened. She asked if I was okay and I explained I barely missed it but I did miss it. I was just freaked out. She said she'd have 22 drive my dad's truck out and she'd finish driving me home. I agreed to that and then called back a minute later and said I'd be fine, I was calming down and I'd make it the rest of the way. She told me to keep my ass where I was so I did as I was told. Which was good because there are more deer that hang in the fields and woods around our house and with the way my luck was going, I might have run in to another one. I already missed three, I'm not sure I'd have missed another.

That was the exciting end to my otherwise very boring Monday night, lol.

So, this year is almost over! The TMI questions this week are centered around that sort of so I'm skipping. I didn't have any really spectacular memories and the things I learned are life lessons everyone learns or things I'd prefer to keep private. And the resolutions thing? I never make them and never will. I set goals in my mind year round that I like to try and achieve. I didn't accomplish many of my goals at all this year. Bummer. I'll just have to try harder next year. Maybe. Lol.

So, my exciting plans for New Years Eve... Anyone interested? You want to know what I'll be doing? Working. Yup. Haha. Fun right? =) Hopefully people tip well. Though if drunk people come in they're probably be good. Drunks usually overtip. Probably on accident. That's what they get for fucking being drunk and driving somewhere to get food. I can't stand drunk driving. So if any one of you get lit up and get in a car, don't tell me about it because I'll find you and beat your ass a little bit. Not in a fun way either. That's another rant for another day I suppose. I hope everyone else has something more fun going on though!

Happy Tuesday!

Once I had a halo, then it caught on fire

So Christmas, we woke up early but still had to wait for my brother's girlfriend to show up. There was milk, chocolate milk, coffee and orange juice. Cinnamon rolls, orange sweet rolls, chocolate twist pastries and bagels. We separated gifts into piles and then all sat down to open them once 22's girlfriend got there.

Youngest Brother was having one hell of a time waiting for 22's girl to show up. His mountain of gifts were taunting him, lol. His best reactions were to his Xbox 360, hockey skates, Daniel Sedin jersey tshirt and the autographed hockey puck. I got him the Sedin jersey tshirt (one of his favorite Vancouver Canucks players, yeah he loves a Canadian team) and he tackled me on to my bed when he opened it up he was so happy about it. The Xbox 360 was too cute though because he got up and did an excited little dance for it. I got him his first band tshirt (Atreyu) and a CD. He also got some other Vancouver Canucks stuff from our sister that he was happy as hell with. Then an Xbox game or two, some DVD's and some other stuff I can't remember.

My sister finally got an mp3 player though it wasn't the iPod she wanted but she's definitely happy with it now. One of the gifts she got was from my boyfriend and it was a Brenden Morrow (Captain of the Dallas Stars) tshirt. She jumped up and hugged him she was so happy about it. He's one of her favorite players and she goes nuts over him, lol. I'm not the only hockey nut in my family as you can see. ;) She loved all the hockey stuff she got plus all the books, CDs, Bath & Body Works junk, gift cards and anything else she got that I can't remember.

My mom got my boyfriend a fondue set and a beginner cake decorating set. Sounds silly to some but he liked it. He loves fondue and he loves to bake. He's damn good at it too! YB got him a band tshirt that he picked out himself. YB was proud because this is the first year he's got to pick out gifts for everyone and he did well. My dad got Boyfriend the movie American Gangster on DVD. Which, coincidentally, 22 got for me as well, lol. 22 got boyfriend some triple disc thing for the movie Hellboy 2. I dunno what the hell it was, lol. I'm not a Hellboy fan I suppose since I've never taken the time to pay any attention to it at all. One of the things Little Sister got him was a shot glass and tumbler set with the Dallas Stars logo on it. They were heay bottomed and the logo was silver. I got him a band tshirt, a CD and... a digital camera plus memory card. He's been needing a new one and I was so excited to have the money to be able to buy him one. I totally couldn't afford any of the amazing cameras that he wants for real photography and what not but I could afford him an everyday digital to use for whatever. He was happy and since he's gone back away from me, he's used it and says he really likes it. Which makes me happy. I'd hate to have spent so much money for something he hated or didn't like, lol. His buddies went in together and got him a fucking Marty Turco (Dallas Stars goalie) jersey. I wanted to get it but really, I couldn't afford the fucking thing and the camera was actually cheaper, lol.

22 got gift cards, video games, CDs and some clothing. He was hard to shop for this year because he wouldn't tell anyone anything he fucking wanted. Also hard because he pretty much buys all his own toys and the other things he wants/needs are way more than any of us can afford. Like he could really use a new truck since wrecking his a few months back, lol. I could afford a Tonka truck or maybe a nice remote control one that would be fun to play with. If I could afford him a new Ford F-150 though, I'd be buying myself a new car instead. =x Lol.

My mom got so much stuff. CDs, DVDs, coffee mugs, Bath & Body Works junk, new cookwear, random other stuff I can't remember and you guessed it, hockey stuff. She's a Stars fan but given that she also lives in California for a portion of the year (it's complicated and I won't be explaining so take it for what it is please, lol) she's a fan of the San Jose Sharks. So she got a couple of SJ Shark jersey tshirts featuring some of her favorite players and a nice Sharks throw blanket. She's used that throw blanket everyday thus far to wrap up in. ;) One of the things my boyfriend got her was a Mario Lemiuex autographed card. She freaked the fuck out oer that as he is one of her absolutely favorites. The look on her face was priceless and she wouldn't even let anyone look at the thing for the longest time, lol. Which was okay because I was the one who ended up wrapping it so I had plenty of time to look it over beforehand. ;)

My dad got pajamas, shoes, Blu Ray DVDs and some other stuff. He just got a 52 inch flat screen HD TV for his birthday in mid-December so of course, he wanted the Blu Ray for it. Though they were going to wait until next year to get it. So I came up with the idea that me, Boyfriend and 22 could all go in together and be able to afford him one. Little Sister thought that a good idea and wanted to go in so we got to split the cost of the Blu Ry player 4 ways. Which was awesome and made it totally doable. We gave him the Blu Ray DVDs on the pretense that we were helping him start his collection so that when he finally got the player he would have some Blu Ray's to go with it. He was happy with the ones we got him. Then after everyone else finished opening everything, we brought out the Blu Ray player for him. :)

Of course Boyfriend's mom didn't come but he had to get some things for her.
Boyfriend and I split the cost of a really pretty table top relaxation fountain. She loves the one I have so getting her one of her own was a good idea. I'm glad he thought of it actually, lol. ;) I got her some Yankee Candles too. She's always burning candles and their house always smells nice because of it. I got her something from Bath & Body Works and an awesome little trial size of a hand cream that makes your skin amazingly soft. Plus some house shoes. Boyfriend got her some other stuff too. I'm hoping it all made it back alright with him. I forgot all about that stuff actually, lol.

My sister got me this limited editon set for the movie 300. I *love* that movie. *swoon* She also got me two CD's, one of which is a Seether CD of them performing songs live. I love Shawn Morgan's voice so that made me happy too. YB was anxious for me to open hos gifts because again, it was his first year to really pick things out for people. He found a bunch of Jack Skellington stuff, Reversible beanie, rubber bracelet and gloves and got them for me knowing I LOVE The Nightmare Before Christmas/Jack Skellington stuff. The fact that half the junk on my Hot Topic wishlist is just TNBC/JS stuff doesn't hurt either though the beanie was the only thing from my list that he got. The other two were just picks he thought I would like and he was definitely correct. :) My mom got me a messenger bag from HT with a skull on the front of it. It's pretty neat. I don't dig purses honestly because while I like carrying stuff with me, I prefer to be able to sling it around my body and go. My dad got me a Mudvayne CD and an Opeth CD. The Roundhouse Tapes which is some of their best songs recorded live. I've listened to it so many times already, lol. I love the fuck out of Opeth. Their music, to me, is so haunting, beautiful, amazing and soothing all together. I just love their music. *happy sigh* 22 got me two DVD's, American Gangster and 30 Days of Night. Which isn't as bad as I initially thought it would be. I actually enjoy it and didn't laugh my way through half of it, heh. 22's girlfriend got me a giftcard to Wal-Mart and I got her something from Bath & Body Works. Meh. Boyfriend got me.... himself! Lol. Actually, that surprise (clickity click if you missed the post and head to somewhere else for even more details) financially was a joint effort between him and my parents to get him out here to visit for Christmas. Which was awesome. I was so happy to have him here with me for 5 days. We didn't do much at all but we spent most of our time together with each other, doing a lot of nothing. It was nice. :) He did get me a few things though, even though I told him not to. *grin* He got me a book I wanted, Ninhja The Shadow Warrior, lol. It's a silly book a little bit but I wanted it. He also got me two pairs of amazingly comfy lounge socks from Bath & Body Works.
They feel sooo good and they keep my feet so warm. I did laugh at calling them lounge socks at first but after wearing my shoes with them once, for about an hour, I decided it wasn't so funny anymore. My feet got HOT as hell with those socks on plus shoes. They're definitely not meant to be worn with shoes and totally meant for lounging around in, lol. He also got me a little stuffed penguin to add to my big collection of plush and toy penguins. LOVE penguins and have about 12 or more little penguins as it is but I just love them, heh. This one is sooo cute too! Then there was the autographed Mike Modano card and the Mikey Mo tshirt. Modano has been my favorite player since I was about 9 years old. I have a nice little collection of autographed Dallas Stars stuff and I'll be adding that awesome little card to my collection. My mom got me a TOOL band tshirt Nikon Coolpix L18 digital camera. Which rocks because now I can stop taking picture using only my camera phone, lol. In case you ever wondered why my pictures aren't the greatest, that would be why. Almost every picture on here has been taken with my Samsung camera phone, lol. I was happy as hell to get the camera. I take so damn many pictures, it's not even funny. I get bored and start snapping. My boyfriend who often gets random goofball pictures of me in his cell phone inbox can attest to that fact, lol. Anyone out there who has seen my myspace page can attest to that too actually. So yay! I got House Season 4 from Fangs and a few more of my friends got things for me as well because they rock. Even though I told them not to! People never listen, I tell you what. I got giftcards from Barnes & Noble, Hot Topic and Best Buy for a few friends though, even though they told me I didn't have to. Meh, I guess I don't listen either. =D Gosh I think that's all, phew.

Something cool we did with the gifts this year was on some more expensive things, a few of us all pitched in to buy it. Such as the Blu Ray for my dad. YB's hockey skates, my parents paid for half and Boyfriend, myself, LS and 22 chipped in the rest for them. The insanely expensive Xbox 360 game that 22 really wanted, my mom and boyfriend split the cost of that to get it for 22. The relaxation fountain for Boyfriend's mom. I think some other things as well but I don't remember. That was fun though because we were able to get some more expensive items for everyone that otherwise one person wouldn't have been able to buy on their own.

So after we got everything cleared away and put the furniture all back in place, we lounged around and watched a Christmas movie. I laid on my bed, cuddling with my boyfriend and pestering him a little bit while we laid there watching Christmas With The Kranks. YB took his hockey skates outside to try them out and Boyfriend and I hung outside with him for a bit while we did that. We had a big appetizer style lunch and instead of eating at the table, we all got our plates and sat around in the living room together to eat and hang out. We watched movies and just lounged around. My boyfriend complained about wishing he could stay longer. My mom said she'd just tie him to a chair and then call his boss the next day and let them know he wasn't coming in because he was being held hostage in California. YB and LS both mentioned they wished he could stay longer a few times. I agreed with all of them too heh but he had to get back to work on the 26th so c'est la vie.

Around 2, it was time to head off. Boyfriend's flight was due off at 6 pm and it's a little more than 2 hours to the airport from where we live. We wanted to get there plenty early incase it happened to be busy. I know not a huge amount of people fly on Christmas Day but I figured it might be busy because you can get flights for much cheaper. It was actually busy but we got there with time to spare. Which was nice because Boyfriend, mom, YB and myself sat around chatting some more before he had to leave to go through security and then wait to board his flight. We did some people watching and talked sports most of the time we sat there. Then it was time for him to go. YB hugged him 3 or 4 times which was cute. My mom got a little misty eyed when she was saying goodbye to Boyfriend which was sweet. I'm glad she likes him so much. I plan on keeping him around a while so it's good most of my family likes him so well. :) (Which reminds me, at Thanksgiving this year, my grandma told me she'd try and steal him away from me if she were 50 years younger. I totally have to remember to tell that story sometime this week, lol!) Then I walked away with him so we could be all huggy and smoochy away from everyone. I didn't cry because I had all day to work up to saying goodbye, lol. I have a love and hate relationship with our goodbye kisses. I love them because they are so intense and amazing. I hate them because I know they'll be the last I get until I see him again in a couple months.

We left the airport and then headed home.

Once there, we ate some sweet stuff and then hung around the house. Eventually, we played Rock Band downstairs. My dad, me and 22's girlfriend who woke up and decided to play the drums even though she slept pretty much the whole time she was there visiting minus gift time and food time but whatever to that, not going there. When she quit playing, 22 stepped in and played. YB usually plays but he was wrapped up in his Xbox 360 upstairs in his room. 22 got Rock Band a month or so ago but I hadn't really played since July so it took me a few songs to not completely suck balls again, lol. It was so much fun! My dad first played Rock Band when 22 got it a month or so ago and he really digs it and he does well. Fun fun fun. We played for two hours but it didn't feel that long at all. Never does though, heh.

I was getting text updates here and there from Boyfriend. Letting me know when he landed and made it alright and when he was boarding and leaving on his next flight. Boyfriend's initial flight out ended up being delayed half an hour but he ended up making it back home early by about 20 minutes. So yay for him. We talked for a while once he was home but not for long. He was tired and I was tired. I slept so fucking good that night. Even without his nice warm body taking up space next to mine, heh.

Did you make it to the end? Go you! I feel like I should give out prizes or cookies or something, lol. If you read all of this start to finish then thank you so much for taking the time to do that! I know this was a little on the lengthy side for sure but hey, it's me you know. =)

Now for some Music Monday. I love Incubus. One I think Incubus is a badass name for a band. ;) I also love sexy Brandon Boyd's voice and love the lyrics to most of their songs. They've been one of my favorites for a long, long time. I've had this song stuck in my head since around Christmas Eve so here we go.

Happy Monday y'all!
XoXo

Saturday Survey

Before the survey, I have to say that I am insanely behind on my email! I got, I think, 7 from this post from yesterday about a dream I had. I seriously just think I have a very active (sometimes overactive indeed) imagination. I do appreciate the concern but I don't think my imagination is a problem, lol. I'll get caught up on responding to emails soon enough, promise.

I'll post about Xmas Sunday or Monday, lol. Definitely not today, that's for sure.

Last but not least, I have to add in something else really quick!

It's Beautiful Dreamer's birthday! Once you're done here, go over to her blog and tell that lovely, awesome chick happy birthday!

Saturday Survey # 5678
Brought to you by: Amorous Rocker

When was the last time you splurged on a gift for yourself?
Uhh... I don't remember. Oh wait. I bought some cute knee high socks with skulls on them when I was Giftmas shopping.

Have you ever bought yourself a gift for Christmas, Valentines Day, a birthday or any other occasion and then wrapped it up and pretended it was from someone else?
No, I never have and never will, lol. Odd.

Have you ever sent yourself flowers, chocolates or anything else to your place of employment so it seemed as if someone else were sending you a gift?
Never.

How often do you text message?
Every damn day. I'm an addict.

Is there someone you'd like to fix things with?
Nope. I'm good.

Are there any previous relationships you wish could have lasted longer?
No. Some I wonder why they lasted as long as they did or why they began at all, lol.

When do you blow out the candles?
Whenever I have one lit and then if I'm leaving the room, leaving the house or about to go to bed then I usually blow it out. I never leave with a candle lit. ;)

Do you give out second chances too easily?
Nope! I'm not forgiving nor trusting enough for that. If I gave them out easily, Cookerman and I would be friends again.

What's the next big life decision you will have to make?
No clue. There are a few lurking around that need to be thought on though. *Sigh*

If you could cuddle with anyone right now, who would you pick, and why?
My boyfriend of course. No explanation needed.

Who is probably talking a load of crap about you right now?
No one? If someone is, they're lame and should shut up since I'm totally awesome. Ha ha. If someone were talking trash about me, I wouldn't care.

Who was the last person to REALLY piss you off?
Oh, let me tell you.... No, actually I won't. Lets just say I wanted to smack them around a lot and choke them. Yep.

Would you ever want to be a supermodel?
NEVER.

Who is the most experimental person you know?
Me. :) Or... you know, I don't even know. Aside from me... Probably Fangs.

Your motivation for tomorrow?
Don't kill anyone at work. I wouldn't like jail, they don't have good food there and no music, texting or internet.

Do you know what you will wear tomorrow?
Clothes! My work clothing from 5 pm until 2:30 AM. Before then? Probably jogging pants and a tshirt. I never plan out what I'm going to wear.

What is the last thing you put your lips against?
I just put Nivea's A Kiss of Relief on my lips so the applicator for that was the last thing my lips were against.

Have you ever gone two or more days without changing your underwear?
Nope! Ick.

Have you ever accidentally eaten an insect?
No. How would I accidentally eat anything? I guess if it were like hidden in a taco or something that would count but then how would I know? Ew!

What serial killer do you find most disturbing?
They're all disturbing in some way to me and tons of them completely fascinate me. =)

Are you ever purposely irritating?
Hahaha, yes I am sometimes. Only to certain people though. =) Oh and to my boyfriend when I feel like being a pain in the ass.

What was the last thing you used your debit card for?
To pay part of a bill. Fun huh?

Are you cheating on your significant other right now?
No!

Are you contemplating cheating on your significant other right now?
Nope.

When was the last time you sat down and watched kiddie cartoons?
Right now some are on, I'm kind of listening to them but no clue what this show it, lol. There are some cartoons I do dig though. =)

Do you sleep with one leg out from under the covers?
Meh. Sometimes when I'm hot, I move my legs out from under the covers for a few minutes and that helps, lol.

Do you have any text messages that you would be embarrassed to let your mom read?
Hahaha, nope. All the stuff in my inbox now is safe.

How old do you think you will be when you finally have kids/your next kid?
I don't want kids.

Have you ever thought about converting to a new religion?
I'm not religious.

Do you know anyone with the same first name as you?
I know several people with the same first name as me but none of them spell it the same way that mine's spelled. =)

When was the last time you went to church?
I don't, I'm not religious. Last time I went was like 10 years ago when I had to go with my family.

Does your religious beliefs ever cause any disagreements between you and your friends?
Actually yeah. For the third time this survey, I'm not religious and that seriously bothers a couple of my friends. They don't understand my views and wish I would adopt a different way of seeing things. They want me to believe in something. Not necessarily what they believe in but something more than what I do believe in.

What song plays on your Myspace profile page?
I have one of those little players and I think there's like 10 songs on it. Not checking but they're all awesome, of course. ;)

Do you know anyone that smokes pot?
OMG! Like 30 of the 37 people I work with. Okay so those numbers aren't exact but hopefully it correctly conveys the point. Oh and three of my friends do as well.

What were you doing the last time you were in the bathroom?
Brushing my teeth, rinsing with mouthwash, washing my face and pulling my hair back in a ponytail.

Have you ever had a Razr as a phone?
Nope! Boyfriend did though.

Which energy drink is better; Amp or Rockstar?
Neither! Ick.

Would you rather eat a milkyway or eat a twix?
Meh. I'd rather eat neither but if I have to pick... it wouldn't matter, lol.

Do you like that new shoe smell?
I don't sit there and sniff my new shoes oddly enough.

Do you like the taste of licorice?
NO!

Would you ever walk around with a free hugs sign like the dude on youtube?
Probably not. I wouldn't want some random people hugging on me. Some would be fine I'm sure but there are some creepy fucks out there that I'd probably hit if they got too friendly. Then my free hugs just turned to free assault and that's not always fun.

Do you feel bad when you see a janitor cleaning up a mess YOU made?
I'm not sure that's ever happened. I always try to clean up all my own messes. I'm not a messy person and don't leave or make messes in public. Which I wish our customers would adhere to at work. If you don't want pickles on your burger, say so! The menu states what comes on everything so speak up if you don't want something. Pulling shit you don't want off your food and throwing it onto the floor is disgusting and rude. /Rant

Did you ever flip out on a teacher and walk out of a class?
Not that I can remember but maybe... Hmm...

Do you/did you ever have dreams of being a rockstar?
Oh sure. Especially when I was super little. Aww!

If vegetarians think its wrong to eat living things, why do they eat plants?
Go ask a vegetarian.

Happy Saturday!

Sparkling like a morning star...

I was walking down the street. The sun was almost gone from the sky and the chill in the air was dropping to an even colder temperature than it already was. I zipped my fleece hoodie up and walked a little more quickly than I had been. I was admiring the lights and decorations on all the houses in this neighborhood. Large, stunning Victorians with dazzling lights strung all over the roofs. Bright reds, dazzling greens, shimmering yellow, twinkling white and a few blue ones here and there. People had clear lights draped through the branches of their trees. Yards lined with plastic candy canes that flashed red and white. Fake snow covering roofs and sprinkled all over bushes, lawns and trees. Inflatable snowmen, reindeer, Santa, sleighs, elves, toys, trains and many other decorations lining the yards. I stared in wonder at each house as I passed. Not a single house had skipped on decorating. Not a single house had done a half ass job. Each and every one were so elaborately decorated. It was like walking through a stage for some cheesy Christmas movie where every house does insane decorations that some how all tie in together and look stunning and beautiful. The lights were all so clear, so bright. Twinkling in various patterns and seeming to call out to those who passed by. I stopped in front of one house and stared in amazement at the giant snow globe taking up most of their front lawn. It had Santa's workshop inside, little elves bustling about inside. Smoke rising from the chimney, snow swirling around in no patterned direction. Reindeer outside the shop, tethered loosely to a beam, sipping water and waiting patiently for their time to come. Outside, around the snow globe, was a scene made to look like an outdoor ice skating rink. The whole yard around it had been made to look like the glistening ice of a frozen over pond. Mini wooden versions of snow men, elves, reindeer, toy soldiers, dolls and children had on skates and were frozen in various stages of ice skating. Some paused in a flawless glide forever. Others sitting on their butt, as if they had fallen, a grin painted on their wooden face forever. I started getting a creepy feeling while looking at the pretend ice skaters and decided to start walking again. Unease began to creep over me but I shook it off, trying to convince myself that I was just psyching myself out. Still, I turned to look behind me quickly. I sighed, scolding myself for allowing my mind to work myself into a paranoia. I stopped at another house and admired the decorations of their yard. I heard footsteps suddenly behind me. I turned casually but saw nothing. I shrugged but again came the uneasy feeling. I started walking again and glanced over my shoulders and to my sides. I didn't see anything. It struck me as odd right then that I hadn't seen another person anywhere. The houses were all lit up but I didn't see one single person doing a thing. No one coming home from work, no one running out to do anything, no kids outside playing. I heard the footsteps coming again. Louder this time and I picked up the pace, no longer caring about admiring the rest of the dazzling decorations. I glanced behind me once more and this time I did see someone. It was a gingerbread cookie. A very large one at about 6 feet tall and it didn't look precisely happy to see me. The knife and blowtorch it somehow carried in it's fingerless hands wasn't very inviting either. I almost stopped to stare, to make sure I was really seeing what I was seeing. As soon as I slowed, another appeared. This one taller than the first, with a menacing glare on it's cookie face. The thing that disturbed me most was they were just like gingerbread cookies exactly except for one thing. Their facial features were human. Human eyes, nose, eyebrows and mouth. It was freaky. The second one held a rolling pin and a spatula that looked like it had serrated, sharp edges to it. I sped back up and began to run. The footsteps behind me increased and I looked again to find them coming quicker. I giggled because it looked funny to see them trying to run. One screamed out at me. No words, just a loud, rage filled noise. I stopped giggling and ran faster. It felt like I ran a mile but the street never ended. It seemed as if it were an endless block of huge, beautiful, elaborately decorated houses. My sides began to ache and I had to slow down a little bit. The gingerbread men continued in their pursuit of me and I wondered vaguely how it was even possibly that giant cookies with creepy human faces and strange weapons were chasing me. I tripped over a crack in the sidewalk and went stumbling to the ground. I tried to push myself up but I couldn't move. One of the gingerbread screeched as he got within reach of me and he threw a ball of icing he had put on fire at me as I laid there struggling to get up. I screamed as the fiery ball of icing sailed over my head, barely missing me. Suddenly, a giant snowman was in front of me. He used a lighter to melt part of his snow onto me, causing a puddle to form around me. Once I was soaked, I could move again and scrambled to my feet. The gingerbread men were barely a foot away and were preparing to leap and attack us both. The snowmen grabbed me and we jumped a foot and landed on a carpet. He clapped twice and the carpet rose off the ground and sped away. The gingerbread men tried pelting the flying carpet with more icing fireballs but missed in all their attempts. We flew up and over the houses on the carpet and I laid back on it, gasping for breath and hoping my heart didn't explode or decide to just jump right out of my chest. I asked the snowman were he was taking me but got no answer. Instead, he flipped the carpet upside down and I found myself falling through the air. Luckily, I landed on a bounce house that had no roof. I didn't hit any of the children bouncing in it but they all screamed out just the same. I guess I would have too if a strange girl fell into my bounce house from out of the sky. I scrambled out of there and found myself in a backyard brightly lit with Christmas lights. Quickly, a woman in a green and red vest came up to me with a tray. She looked me over and then asked me why my clothes were soaking wet. She said she had something that would be dry and fit me and asked if I'd like to towel off and change. I said sure and she led me through the yard towards a large house. I looked around and noticed they must be having some sort of Christmas party. I wondered why they were having it outside and at night. It was quite cold and definitely not the best weather to have kids out in a bounce house and running around a yard. I shrugged and followed her into the house. She pointed to a table where a pair of black pants and a red hooded sweater were laying. She said they'd fit and directed me to a bathroom as she handed me a towel. I picked up the pants and hooded sweatshirt and found that socks, a bra and undies all laid underneath as well. All in my size. Strange but whatever. I went into the bathroom, dried off and changed. I went back out and she took my wet clothes and popped them into a machine. In 60 seconds, they were dry. I said I'd go change back into them but she insisted I keep the clothing and come enjoy the party with them. I shrugged and we headed outside. She gave me a cup of hot cocoa and left me to tend to something else. I wondered around a few minutes and the woman was back, offering me a cookie off of a tray with many. I reached for a sugar cookie but she slapped lightly at my hand. She smiled widely at me and picked out a cookie for me. She handed me a gingerbread cookie, grinning widely, telling me she made the best in the world. I took the cookie and she smiled again before hurrying off. I looked at the small cookie and as I did, the face turned from one made of icing to one of human features. It laughed and snarled at me as I watched it come to life. I screamed and dropped the cookie onto the ground as I ran out of the yard. The woman called after me, screaming for me to come back and enjoy their party. I ignored her and kept running. I cleared the fence and once on the other side, found myself on a stage, in the middle of a ballet. I looked behind me. The fence was gone and there was only a curtain there. The dancers stopped their graceful movements and glared at me as I stood there dumbly. I apologized and ran off the stage. The audience laughed and cheered thinking it was part of their routine. The dancing resumed and I crept around backstage, trying to go unnoticed by all those hustling and bustling around me. I found an exit door but before I could reach it, Oprah Winfrey blocked my path and grabbed a hold of me. She called me a poor dear and told me I must come on her show to tell my story. I told her I had no clue what she was talking about. She shook her head and out comes Dr. Phil, spewing bullshit about denial. I backed away from them both but before I got more than 5 feet away, they both faded away into a shimmering mist as they turned into something else. The gingerbread men that had chased me suddenly manifested in the shimmering mist that had been Dr. Phil and Oprah. I screamed and turn to run. They followed and the chase was on again. I found another door marked exit and flung it open. I ran out the door and found myself running down a street lined with restaurants, shops, bars and people shopping. I glanced behind me to see the gingerbread men coming after me and I ran faster. I found myself running into the middle of a town square. Where a water fountain would normally stand in such a place, there was a huge fountain that was full of steaming hot cocoa. I looked into it trying to gauge how deep the fountain was. I ran to a shop 15 feet away from the fountain and grabbed the ladder from the front door. I put it into the fountain and found that it must be installed into the ground because the ladder had to be at least 7 feet and it had sunk all the way down into the steaming fountain. I turned to see the gingerbread men drawing near. I ran to another shop and grabbed an umbrella made of metal. I got to the fountain just as a fiery icing ball zoomed by me. It hit the fountain and I used the metal umbrella to knock the fiery ball of icing into the cocoa. Instead of putting out the flames, the cocoa began to steam up more. More fiery icing came flying at me and I dodged them all, making each fall into the fountain. The cocoa was beginning to boil and just then, one of the gingerbread men was right in front of me. He pulled out his knife and swung it at me, trying to cut me. I used the metal umbrella to fight with him in a strange almost sword fight. We battled around a few minutes and I ended up knocking a leg off with one swing of the umbrella. He screeched angrily at me as he tried to gain his balance on one leg but I charged him, hitting him hard. He dropped the knife and the blowtorch fell seemingly out of nowhere. He stumbled backwards and I charged again, knocking him into the boiling fountain of cocoa. He thrashed and yelled out as he hit the hot liquid but it was too late, he was melting down and dissolving in the thick chocolate mess. I picked up the blowtorch and began looking around for the second gingerbread man. I crept around, not straying far from the fountain but didn't see him anywhere. Out of no where, he was behind me, slashing his serrated spatula across my lower back. I yelped and cried out in pain as I felt warm blood trickle out from the cut in my back. I turned quickly just as he swung the spatula at me again. He got me on the arm and a gash appeared there followed by blood flowing slowly out of it. He laughed at me as he prepared to swing at me again. I got the blowtorch ready and fired it up as much as I could. He swung and I lit his arm on fire. He howled in pain and dropped his spatula. I picked it up and threw it at him, hitting him in the face and making it stick into one of his human eyes. He howled again and pulled the spatula out. His eye came with it and as he dropped the spatula to the ground, the eye hit and turned into a puddle of green frosting. I fired up the blowtorch again and started trying to set the rest of him on fire. He tried to run but he wasn't faster than me. He was burning as he ran and soon pieces of him were crumbling to the ground. Then he suddenly burst into crumbs after one final howl of pain. I jumped onto the pieces to make sure they crumbled up very well. A woman came out of a bookstore and handed me a broom and dust pan. She told me I couldn't leave until I cleaned the mountain of gingerbread cookies up. I swept them all into a big pile and then used the blowtorch to set them on fire. The woman grinned at me and said thank you. She took back the broom and dust pan and scurried back into her bookstore. I started walking away. One moment, I was walking back down the street with all the shops, bars, restaurants and people hustling about and the next moment, I was walking into my job. Dressed in my work clothes and heading to the wall where the time clock was to punch in. My manager stopped me and informed me we had a new area supervisor and everyone had to come meet her before clocking in for their shifts. I followed him back to the office area and found myself staring at the new area supervisor, who also happened to be the woman from the Christmas party earlier. She grinned widely at me and told me she had been expecting me. I looked at her strangely and turned to ask my manager what was going on but he had taken off from the office area already. I turned back to her uneasily. She watched be for only a few seconds before opening up a file cabinet drawer. She smiled sweetly at me as she held her hand out to me and offered me another cookie.

That's when I woke up. No, I have not eaten a single gingerbread cookie this holiday season. I didn't eat anything weird or anything at all before bed before this dream. I wasn't thinking about any of this and wasn't watching anything on TV that reminded me of this. Also no weird spicy food that night either. I just have weird dreams pretty much all the time, lol. I don't need to do anything in particular to cause them. My dreams are always strange. At least lately they haven't been too dark and creepy. =)

I know I was going to write about my Christmas day today but I wanted to post the dream instead. I'll get to talking about the food, the gifts and all that jazz soon. Either tomorrow or Sunday. Maybe even Monday. It's back to work tonight and the rest of the weekend. Hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday!

Happy Friday y'all!

I caught a chill and it's still frozen on my skin...

DID YOU READ ABOUT THE AWESOME SURPRISE I GOT SUNDAY? If you did, you know what it is and know how amazing it was and how excited, surprised and happy it made me. If you didn't read it and don't know, CLICK HERE and read about it! It's Wednesday and I'm still so surprised and insanely happy about it. YAY!

The Stars played Toronto last night. We won, 8 to 2. Seriously. I'm still wondering why Toronto waited to pull the backup goalie Toskala out and put their lovely Cujo in for so long. They didn't put Joseph in until after my Stars had scored on Toronto 7 times. I would have pulled him so much sooner. Especially after giving up 3 goals only 11 minutes into the first period. Gosh. Not that I mind but man, lol. So on to 1/2NT.

For the 3 Wishes HNT, I felt a little bad because there are so many people out there I would like to grant things for. So the rules are here if you want to read them. I thought about going for things that weren't materialistic. Patience, good health and etc. Then I decided I'd go with trips. So I picked three bloggers who need a fucking break from life so they can kick back and relax.

Weekends Off. This lady makes me laugh so much. She works her ass off and deals with a lot of bullshit. I adore the hell out of her though. So if I could, I'd send her off with a big ol' bag of money on a two week vacation to anywhere she wants to go and I'd kick her bosses asses if they didn't want to let her go. =)

My second is for Rage and Temper. Hey, it counts as one because you know, they're married so the wish is for them as ONE couple. ;) Totally not cheating. I wish for Rage some good health as she's gone through quite a bit of crap here recently and Temper being supportive through it all is awesome. They definitely need a little break and some fun so I'd send them off for a week with an extra suitcase full of all kinds of fun things for them to play with.

My third is for lovely CowGirl. I'd like to give her an all inclusive trip to Jamaica for her and a special someone. I'd also make sure she had a suitcase full of new clothes to go with her too. ;) I just picked her and that because I know she wants to go to Jamaica and she wants some new clothes. C'mon don't you people read her blog? You should! ;)

And because I don't ever play by the rules, I'll do a couple more. I'd give Jeannie a long weekend away to anywhere she wants with enough extra cash to blow on whatever she wants. I'd give Os an extra power chord for his computer in case his ever dies again. ;) I'd give The Bizza a magic wand that puts a fire under the Bears ass and gets them to the Superbowl. Hubman and ASM a gift card to a sexy lingerie/adult store and a weekend away so they could have fun with everything they bought. I'd give KBear a year's supply of baby supplies, she's going to need it with her little one coming soon. I'd give Kiki some happy pills. I'd (reluctantly) wrap a naked Christian Bale up in ribbons give him to Raven for a weekend. Id send Fairy Flutters off to Europe for a week on a girls trip so she could take a break, do some shopping, some dancing and have a nice time away from all her stress for a little bit. And if I could, I'd give contentment and direction to a special guy out there who could use a little of both.

Of course I could go on forever but that's quite enough, right? ;)

Oh and we didn't have to do pictures for today but where's the fun in skipping that? Of course, I say this because I had left over ones I wanted to use. =) Lol.

Surprise!

So, Sunday was due to be the day my family and I went to get all of our Christmas shopping done. I woke up at 10 AM and my dad informed me shortly after that we wouldn't be leaving around 11 AM because some incident happened with my brother's girlfriend and my mom and brother had to go pick her up. Some car trouble, this that and the other thing. So we'd be delayed. I was a little grumpy about this but whatever, what can you do?

So they get back around 2 PM. My mom is in a pissed off mood. Comes in ranting and raving. Bitching about things being a little messy and bitching about 22 and his girlfriend. I'm sitting there thinking, "Oh my gosh, it's going to be like this all day, I'd rather go back to sleep." So I get to talking about some information I found out regarding a gift. We're getting ready to go. I turn my back to pick up my bag and get my stuff together. Then someone comes up behind me and grabs me. I squealed like a little girl because I wasn't suspecting anyone to come up behind me. The second I realized it was my boyfriend behind me, I felt relieved and very, very surprised.

My boyfriend was due to come visit on the 28th. Sunday was the 21st. He came to see me a week early and I had no clue. I was one of the only people in my life to not know what was going on. SURPRISE! My brother's girlfriend had no trouble with her car. That story worked because while 22 is staying with us for the holidays, he and his girlfriend live almost 2 hours away from my family. She has tons of car trouble with her Pasat so, very plausible story they presented. Lol. My mom coming in ranting and raving was all part of the act. I'm not easy to pull things over on so it took quite a bit of work on everyone's part to pull it off. I had known my mom and my boyfriend were cooking up some kind of surprise. I had even figured out that he wasn't coming when he said he was and probably coming a little sooner. I had absolutely no idea when though and honestly, I wasn't at all expecting him to show up on Sunday. BEST SURPRISE EVER.

So, Sunday and Monday we got all the Christmas shopping done. I've got all the gifts wrapped too. Thank you! I never finish so late but finances this year were a pain in the ass. I got it all done though and spent way too much money, lol. I've also been busy spending time with my boyfriend. YAY!

Happy Tuesday y'all!

Saturday Survey

Before I get to the SS, I have to share something weird. I worked late, until 2:30 AM Friday night. I had a little mini pizza and I got freaked out because halfway through it, the thing started tasting like nachos with the works! It tripped me out. I hadn't been thinking about nachos or any other kind of food at all. At first I just realized it was tasting funky and then two more bites and I realized it tasted like nachos! It was one of the little frozen deals sealed tight in plastic and wasn't around anything in the freezer that would taste like that. The only thing in there was ice, french fries, cookie dough, a frozen Belgian waffle, frozen blocks of pineapple juice and some pizza Lean Pockets. It was odd but the thing really tasted like nachos, lol.

The Stars play Ottawa tonight! I'll be at work but the game will be recorded courtesy of NHL Center Ice, DVR and my awesome mama. :) GO STARS!

Anyway....

Saturday Survey #1345
Brought to you by: Amorous Rocker

Do you remember your kindergarten teacher's name?
Yep, Mrs. Robinson. She was all kinds of awesome!

What did you wake up to this morning?
My stupid phone going off with a hundred (okay, 5) text message notifications.

What color hoodie did you wear last?
Black! Duh... ;)

Are you alone right now?
Nope. In the room right now yes but people are upstairs and in the kitchen.

How did your night go last night?
It sucked! I worked from 5 PM until 2:30 AM and didn't make hardly anything in tips. BOO!

How did you do grade wise in third grade?
A's. I made mostly all A's in school.

Did you study a lot in school?
Hardly ever.

How did you get the shirt you're wearing?
Hmm... well, it was my boyfriend's shirt. I was sleeping at his house and needed a clean sleep shirt one night so I raided his closet for one. I loved the way it fit and it was so worn in and comfy because it was one of his older ones. I informed him several nights later that it was now my shirt. He asked why. I said it was super comfy and it looked better on me. He laughed, agreed that it definitely looked better on me and let me have it. :)

How old will you be at your next birthday?
24! Gosh. =) Where the fuck is the time going?

Have you ever done something outrageously dumb?
Oh yeah. Sometimes I even knew it was outrageously dumb beforehand and did it anyway. That can be fun once in a while, depending on what outrageously dumb thing you're going to do.

At this moment in time if you ABSOLUTELY NO WAY OUT OF IT HAVE to have someone's name tattooed on you, who's would it be?
I'd get one of my nicknames that I've had forever tattooed on me. What? You didn't say it couldn't be my own in some form. ;) I'd never get another person's name inked into my skin forever.

What were you doing at 9:00 pm last night?
At fucking work. Where I am at 9 PM 5 nights a week, lol.

Who was the last person you rode in a car with under the age of 18?
My youngest brother. He's the only person under 18 I'm ever in a car with.

Have you ever made out in the snow?
Outside in the snow? I couldn't make my lips work right while shivering so no. Snow does not appeal to me for any kind of frisky funny business.

Last thing you purchased that was over $100?
Hmm... Oh! My boyfriend's Christmas gift was over $100 so that.

Have you ever read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer? Have you seen the Twilight movie?
I've read the first two books. I borrow my sisters books when I have nothing else to read. I have no interest in the movie.

Do you prefer to keep your opinions to yourself or announce them?
Tricky. I'm very opinionated and very open. However, some people (like my crackheaded assistant manager) are so closed minded and set on things, there isn't much point in debating with them at all. I enjoy a good conversation not someone trying to tell me why what I think is wrong and why I should conform to their way of thinking and believing without listening to a word I have to say. Those people, I don't waste my time and energy on. =)

You're stuck on an elevator with the person you've fallen the hardest for, what do you do?
How long are we stuck for? Would sex in a stuck elevator do any damage? Suppose you get really into it, I mean really into it and start rocking the elevator around. That could be bad maybe? No? Tricky tricky. We'd probably just have some tea. From my portable tea pot. Maybe some cookies too. Possibly discuss some politics and analyze about alien turkeys who throw green shit.

Pick a word that begins with the first letter of your first name?
Oooh! Hmmm. Ambivilant. ;)

Are you the type that would rather stay at other people's houses or have people stay at your house?
I honestly prefer to have people stay over at my place over me staying else where. Unless it is someone I am super close with. Then I'll feel at home and likely they'll have a lot of the same stuff I like to have around. I always prefer to sleep in my own bed and use my own bathroom and all my own stuff. Now if it's just to hang out for a few hours then either way is fine. =)

What is a personality/character trait you wish you had/had more of?
Patience. What a weird way to word that question.

What is your biggest personality/character flaw?
Probably my temper and impatience. Together, they do some damage. I lose my patience and then my temper flares up and oh dear. I've gotten better at calming down before I lash out though and I'm working on the patience thing and getting a little better there too, lol.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how fashionable would you say you are?
-10, lol. I'm not fashionable at all. I don't do trends or anything like that. I just wear what I like. All of my clothes are black or dark colored so I generally match by default, lol.

Who is the least fashionable person you know?
Myself! Lol.

Do you match your belt with your hair color?
Um, no? The only belt I have is black leather with silver metal so should I color my hair a steel color so I'll match? I think not.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Gosh... not many. Work shoes. I have to have slip resistant shoes for work because of the floors. Also shoes at work get dirty and nasty quick so I would not want to ruin a good pair that way. One pair of running shoes. One pair of flip flops. One pair of Vans. One pair of black open toe pumps. One pair of boots. That's it. I'd have more but I hate parting with the money and I can never find my big ass size in anything I like anyway.

What is the worst trend you see today?
I have no idea. I don't keep up with what's trendy so yeah.... I don't know, lol.

What kind of body wash/soap do you use?
Hmm... right now it's an exfoliating sea salt and mineral scrub body wash. That stuff rocks and it has a great clean smell to it. Mmm. Ha, fuck trendy clothes; I spend all my money on bath and body products.

How did you celebrate your most recent birthday?
One day with my family. Hanging out at mom's with a good dinner, yummy cake and presents. Another day with lots of friends and my boyfriend, getting really drunk and having mucho amounts of fun.

How will you spend your next birthday?
Probably the same way. =) Or something similar. Maybe. I don't know. I don't plan that far in advance. I don't plan much anyway, lol.

Have you ever thought someone a friend was dating was attractive?
Duh. If a friend is dating someone who is sexy, their looks don't disappear just because they're dating my friend. It just makes them sexy and completely off limits.

When was the last time you did something to specifically annoy someone?
Ohh! Last night at work. I was filling up the drink syrup bottles. I empty them out and clean them or K does. Well, K accidentally filled the wrong syrup back into the wrong pump bottle. I decided we should leave it that way except there are too many reds and it would confuse too much. So, we took peach and filled it in the pump bottle labeled grape and put the grape in the peach pump bottle. I did this because I very rude, mean, bitchy, cunt works in the morning who likes to do shit to piss us off. She also thinks she owns the world and can tell everyone what to do. She has a bad Goddess complex. I'd like to punch her in the face but since I can't, we like to do shit to piss her off instead. Though she doesn't ever know who does it because she's not smart enough to figure it out.

Do you walk around your house naked?
Considering I live with my family for the time being... No, lol.

If a guy put his jacket on a huge puddle for you, would you actually walk on it or just look at him like he was crazy?
I'd ask him why he just ruined a perfectly good chance for me to jump and splash in a big puddle. =) Or I'd ask why the hell he just dropped his jacket in water and tell him to pick his shit back up, lol. And probably say thanks for the thought though.

Would you be in to trying yoga?
Been there, done that. Not into it.

Who's the last person that came up behind you and covered your eyes?
Gosh... Probably Youngest Brother or someone clowning around at work.

Would you rather lick caramel or chocolate off of your lovers body?
Whipped cream dammit. I don't like chocolate much unless it's dark chocolate and while I like caramel, it's really too sweet for me to handle much of.

Who will always tell it to you like it is, no matter if it's going to hurt or not?
My boyfriend and my best friends.

Have you ever been in a fist fight?
Yes but thankfully it's been a while. =)

If you had to give up one or the other forever, which do you choose, chocolate or sex?
Seriously? BUH BYE CHOCOLATE! I'm not a big fan of chocolate anyway so it's no real loss there but sex on the other hand I am a fan of and that would be a great loss, lol.

Does the number of people a person's slept with affect how much you like them?
Haha, no. That's silly.

Has anybody ever given you butterflies?
No. What a strange gift that would be.... ;)

Happy Saturday y'all!

And here we go...

Thanks so much for all the comments and such on the post yesterday! =) With work and the crappy internet connection that doesn't work half the time, it'll take me some time to get around to all those who visited. I'll get there though. ;)

A little post pimping here. Check out this post by the awesome and gorgeous Rage. It's a list of some interesting things you can use Vodka for. It's pretty cool. =)

The Stars played the Columbus Blue Jackets last night. The third and final period ended tied 5 to 5. They went into overtime. Overtime ended, still tied at 5. On to the shootout. The Stars won in the shootout! Woohoo! I was at work during the game but thanks to the magical DVR, I got to watch the game after I got home from work at 1 AM. Lol. We got back some good players too who were out with injuries, Joel Lundqvist and Steve Ott. So yay! Now if only our team captain Brenden Morrow could make a miraculous recovery and make it back this season, lol. Of course, that won't happen and he's out for the rest of this season. It was worth staying up late to watch that game. Wow. What a great game. I'd be so sad if I had to miss so many games due to work, lol. I love the DVR. Go Stars! :D

Work Thursday night was a little interesting. My job is in a shopping center parking lot, on the far end. There was a drug deal that was going down but for the unlucky dealer, they were dealing to a law enforcement person. Which was made clear when a big white SUV pulled up and 4 DEA agents got out. The drug dealer was actually a little blond woman. They pulled a shit ton of cocaine out of her car plus measuring tools and some other shit. My manager used the excuse that he needed a cigarette to go outside and get a closer look. We could all see it happening from the front windows anyway because the front windows faced the parking lot it was happening in. And maybe we were standing there at the windows watching. My manager used the pretense that they were in our parking lot so he had a right to a closer look to make sure none of us or our customers were in any danger. He didn't get close enough to bother the DEA agents or the men in the suits that showed up a couple minutes after they started pulling drugs out of the girls car. The whole ordeal lasted maybe 15 minutes. She got taken away and her little car was left sitting in the parking lot. Sucks to be her. It was crazy though. =) A couple of the major potheads at work were freaking out because not only were there 8 law enforcement folks 20 yards away but 4 of them were wearing pretty jackets with DEA in the big pretty letters on them. I told the one tripping the most to chill out, they had someone way more important they were dealing with at the moment and they weren't going to come in and bother any of us. It didn't calm any of the paranoid drugged out fucks at work though. They were happy to see the cars pull away once it was all done and over with.

That was the most exciting thing I've seen all week. Sad no? Lol. Oh well. The last time I saw a major drug bust I was 15. We lived in a nice, big house. Across the street, a family lived. They had quite a few rotweilers, lots of security, lots of muscular thugs always around and lots of weird and shady behavior. I decided it would be best to ignore them and try not to ever pay attention when I saw them hanging around outside. I didn't know what they were into and didn't really want to know. Of course, the word was that he was a big time drug dealer. I figured that was probably true. That got confirmed one day when his house got swarmed by several different fields of law enforcement. He went to jail. They hauled so much shit out of that house. I remember at the time feeling like I was seeing a scene out of a movie, kind of feeling surreal and odd but nope, it was real. I don't remember if anyone else moved in after they were gone. We moved a few months after that to a house on a country club golf course. I didn't like that house too much because it creeped me out but from the backyard, you could jump the fence and be on the golf course. There were some fun times messing with some rude asshole golfers. Hehehe. =)

I can't believe Christmas is in 6 days! Eeek!

I get to see my boyfriend in 9 days! Yay! This week has really flown by quickly too. I'm hoping next week zooms on by too, lol. With my luck, the last couple days before he arrives will drag on FOREVER. It will seem like that anyway. Heh.

Back to Christmas. 6 days away? Really? I guessI better finish my shopping soon, lol.

Have a great weekend y'all!

I saw you in the garden, I wanted you so much...

I don't put much thought, time or effort into doing pictures for HNT. I'm not too serious about it. I just have fun and do whatever. If I was frustrated or stressing about something so trivial, it would be time to quit and walk away from it. So, I took a lot of pictures and then narrowed it down. Only thing is, I ended up actually liking quite a bit of the pictures I took. So, y'all get to see 6 today. I know, I know, lol. I still have more for next week and the week after too, lol. =)

Our Christmas tree is always a mix of things. Ornaments varying from little Santas, angels, mini trees, little snowmen, mini ornament balls, snowflakes, twinkling lights and actual tasty candy canes. Older ones we've had since I was a little kid. It's a mix of things but it always works. Come Christmas Day, there are rarely any candy canes left but everything else makes it through just fine. :) The snowflakes are the prettiest things on the tree and the candy canes are the things hanging from the branches that I love most. Another thing I love is hot chocolate in my festive little penguin mug. Yum yum.

Opeth is one of my absolute favorite bands. This song is one of my favorites by them. Definitely in the top 5. I just love it. *happy sigh*

11 days... Just sayin'... ;)

Yesterday was Dad's birthday. We had dinner. Mom made one of dad's favorite things for him. It was yummy, like most things she cooks. There was a homemade cake with homemade buttercream icing. All nice and decorated up. My mom does awesome at stuff like that. It's what she does, lol. I don't eat buttercream icing though. It's way too sweet for me and honestly if I'm going to eat cake(not a big cake fan), I just want it naked. So I got a really small piece, scraped off the icing and ate just the cake. Which was good stuff. Mmm.

The Stars played last night against the Phoenix Coyotes. Stars won it in overtime, 2 - 1. Woohoo! It was a damn good game too. The lovely and talented Loui Eriksson scored both of our goals. I love that dude. I get so excited during hockey games. Especially when a win occurs. Which, granted, hasn't happened much this season but whatever, lol. I love my team, even when we're not winning so much or playing so well. I was just happy as hell to be home to watch the game. Usually I'm working when games are on so they get recorded on the DVR and I watch them when I can at a later date. Watching them when they're actually on is way better. I have problems when at work because I can't resist checking the score from my cell. It's on my browser homepage! The score and stats are one push of a button away. I try to resist the urge to check the score. It rarely works out that way. I have to know! Lol. =)

WW #34
Questions by: Another Suburban Mom

The following note is included by ASM:

"When I was musing about what to choose for my Wednesday Weirdness questions, Hubman
pointed out that by doing carefully chosen themed questions, that I might be missing the point of the WW questions. So this week, I have come up with un-themed random questions. Yes, I am breaking out in hives from it. I am also not doing a holiday theme. There is a great Christmas Meme going around for those who would like to play."

1. What is the one sexual act you would never do?

Age play doesn't appeal to me honestly. Especially the diapers/baby thing. Ick. Dressing up in the plush animal suits is a no. A "Strawberry Shortcake", by either definition, is a no. Donkey punch is a no. Dirty Sanchez is a no. Several things. I like some pain, some roughness and even a little blood doesn't bother me but you have to know the line and not go near crossing it.
Basically anything things that involves severe violence, excruciating pain and bodily fluids that belong in a toilet are all a big fat never.

2. Is there anyone you know, that if they turned out to be a serial killer you would not be surprised?

Actually yes. That sounds awful to say but it's true. I feel awful saying it too because the people I have in mind in regard to this question would probably never hurt anyone at all but still, lol.

3. What is the most annoying thing about the holiday season for you?

Rude, pushy people. Of course that's all year round, heh. Christmas music? With the exception being TSO. I hate shopping honestly. I'm not a big shopper as it is and it's a little overwhelming trying to plan out what to get for who and make sure I get it all. My problem with doing it online is usually money and by the time I have the money I need, it's faster to just go out and buy the gifts. Another thing, co-workers. No one wants to work. Everyone wants off early. No one wants to be at work when they come in so they turn into a whine-o-saurus. Too much calling in and trying to wiggle out of shifts or straight slacking from wanting to be anywhere but work. I know work isn't where anyone wants to be when there are festivities and holiday parties going on, classes are out and etc but c'mon, grow up a little. =)

4. If you saw a video of your celebrity crush picking their nose, would that change your opinion of their hotness?

No. It'd be amusing to see a more human side to a hot famous person. They pick their noses, burp, fart, throw up and do other natural and sometimes gross bodily functions just like the rest of the world. I know the illusion of a hot celebrity doesn't leave people thinking like that though. They're sexy, godly and flawless; all that bullshit. Whatever.

5. What is the one non-sexual thing you would be embarrassed to be caught doing?

Not much. I don't get embarrassed easily at all. I guess if I peed my pants and got caught doing so, that would be pretty embarrassing. I don't know, lol. I can't think of anything. =/

6. A favorite blogger friend wrote a column about the one word that really turns her on. Do you have a word or phrase that does the same for you? What is it?

Oh I do have a few words and a phrase or two that just really get me going. I'm not going to reveal them though. Even in Blogger World, I keep some things private. The only person who needs to know them and use them are my boyfriend... he knows them and uses them so there we go. Sorry y'all, lol. *grin* However, if you can guess or want to try, I'll let you know if you're right or even close at all. =D

7. As someone who ran a virtual cookie exchange, I have to ask what your favorite cookie is?

As far as basic, plain ol' cookies go? Sugar cookies. Peanut butter cookies. Chocolate chip cookies. Shortbread cookies. M&M cookies. In that order.

And that does it for the questions today. Sort of. I didn't want one of the questions to turn in to a post itself so I decided to just put it all down here instead.
Oddly enough, one of my friends girlfriends would say yes to question 2 in regard to me. It makes her uncomfortable to no end that I read true crime books and books on serial killers. Despite what she believes, I'm not studying or taking notes trying to plot anything out. I'm not speculating that she thinks that either. My friend and her have actually had discussions about it because she thinks I read that stuff to get ideas for things I could do. She figures it's only a matter of time before I snap and start carving up bodies or something weird like that. She doesn't have any problem telling me any of that herself either. Which is why I don't talk to her and don't talk often to my friend. It's easier that way. He lives in a different state now anyway so it doesn't really matter as I don't see either of them any longer and have her blocked from contacting me on instant messengers, heh. :)

I find the mind to be an amazing and interesting thing and the criminal mind interests me greatly. I just simply don't understand what could make someone do some of the heinous things killers and psychopaths do. I could never do any of the things I read about, I have a hard enough time killing bugs that make it in the house, lol. I find it an interesting subject to delve in to though. I wonder about what goes on in their heads as they go along. I wonder about what goes on in their heads afterward. I'm just curious and at one point I thought about getting in to criminal psychology as a career. I dropped that idea though because while I enjoy the books and enjoy watching documentaries on them, I don't think I could honestly handle sitting and analyzing a killer. I'm not sure how I would react but I just figured it wouldn't be a wise career for me despite my interest. I also don't find it to be that strange of an interest to have honestly. Seriously. There are much stranger things I could be in to. =)

Happy Wednesday!
