11 days... Just sayin'... ;)

Yesterday was Dad's birthday. We had dinner. Mom made one of dad's favorite things for him. It was yummy, like most things she cooks. There was a homemade cake with homemade buttercream icing. All nice and decorated up. My mom does awesome at stuff like that. It's what she does, lol. I don't eat buttercream icing though. It's way too sweet for me and honestly if I'm going to eat cake(not a big cake fan), I just want it naked. So I got a really small piece, scraped off the icing and ate just the cake. Which was good stuff. Mmm.

The Stars played last night against the Phoenix Coyotes. Stars won it in overtime, 2 - 1. Woohoo! It was a damn good game too. The lovely and talented Loui Eriksson scored both of our goals. I love that dude. I get so excited during hockey games. Especially when a win occurs. Which, granted, hasn't happened much this season but whatever, lol. I love my team, even when we're not winning so much or playing so well. I was just happy as hell to be home to watch the game. Usually I'm working when games are on so they get recorded on the DVR and I watch them when I can at a later date. Watching them when they're actually on is way better. I have problems when at work because I can't resist checking the score from my cell. It's on my browser homepage! The score and stats are one push of a button away. I try to resist the urge to check the score. It rarely works out that way. I have to know! Lol. =)

WW #34
Questions by: Another Suburban Mom

The following note is included by ASM:

"When I was musing about what to choose for my Wednesday Weirdness questions, Hubman
pointed out that by doing carefully chosen themed questions, that I might be missing the point of the WW questions. So this week, I have come up with un-themed random questions. Yes, I am breaking out in hives from it. I am also not doing a holiday theme. There is a great Christmas Meme going around for those who would like to play."

1. What is the one sexual act you would never do?

Age play doesn't appeal to me honestly. Especially the diapers/baby thing. Ick. Dressing up in the plush animal suits is a no. A "Strawberry Shortcake", by either definition, is a no. Donkey punch is a no. Dirty Sanchez is a no. Several things. I like some pain, some roughness and even a little blood doesn't bother me but you have to know the line and not go near crossing it.
Basically anything things that involves severe violence, excruciating pain and bodily fluids that belong in a toilet are all a big fat never.

2. Is there anyone you know, that if they turned out to be a serial killer you would not be surprised?

Actually yes. That sounds awful to say but it's true. I feel awful saying it too because the people I have in mind in regard to this question would probably never hurt anyone at all but still, lol.

3. What is the most annoying thing about the holiday season for you?

Rude, pushy people. Of course that's all year round, heh. Christmas music? With the exception being TSO. I hate shopping honestly. I'm not a big shopper as it is and it's a little overwhelming trying to plan out what to get for who and make sure I get it all. My problem with doing it online is usually money and by the time I have the money I need, it's faster to just go out and buy the gifts. Another thing, co-workers. No one wants to work. Everyone wants off early. No one wants to be at work when they come in so they turn into a whine-o-saurus. Too much calling in and trying to wiggle out of shifts or straight slacking from wanting to be anywhere but work. I know work isn't where anyone wants to be when there are festivities and holiday parties going on, classes are out and etc but c'mon, grow up a little. =)

4. If you saw a video of your celebrity crush picking their nose, would that change your opinion of their hotness?

No. It'd be amusing to see a more human side to a hot famous person. They pick their noses, burp, fart, throw up and do other natural and sometimes gross bodily functions just like the rest of the world. I know the illusion of a hot celebrity doesn't leave people thinking like that though. They're sexy, godly and flawless; all that bullshit. Whatever.

5. What is the one non-sexual thing you would be embarrassed to be caught doing?

Not much. I don't get embarrassed easily at all. I guess if I peed my pants and got caught doing so, that would be pretty embarrassing. I don't know, lol. I can't think of anything. =/

6. A favorite blogger friend wrote a column about the one word that really turns her on. Do you have a word or phrase that does the same for you? What is it?

Oh I do have a few words and a phrase or two that just really get me going. I'm not going to reveal them though. Even in Blogger World, I keep some things private. The only person who needs to know them and use them are my boyfriend... he knows them and uses them so there we go. Sorry y'all, lol. *grin* However, if you can guess or want to try, I'll let you know if you're right or even close at all. =D

7. As someone who ran a virtual cookie exchange, I have to ask what your favorite cookie is?

As far as basic, plain ol' cookies go? Sugar cookies. Peanut butter cookies. Chocolate chip cookies. Shortbread cookies. M&M cookies. In that order.

And that does it for the questions today. Sort of. I didn't want one of the questions to turn in to a post itself so I decided to just put it all down here instead.
Oddly enough, one of my friends girlfriends would say yes to question 2 in regard to me. It makes her uncomfortable to no end that I read true crime books and books on serial killers. Despite what she believes, I'm not studying or taking notes trying to plot anything out. I'm not speculating that she thinks that either. My friend and her have actually had discussions about it because she thinks I read that stuff to get ideas for things I could do. She figures it's only a matter of time before I snap and start carving up bodies or something weird like that. She doesn't have any problem telling me any of that herself either. Which is why I don't talk to her and don't talk often to my friend. It's easier that way. He lives in a different state now anyway so it doesn't really matter as I don't see either of them any longer and have her blocked from contacting me on instant messengers, heh. :)

I find the mind to be an amazing and interesting thing and the criminal mind interests me greatly. I just simply don't understand what could make someone do some of the heinous things killers and psychopaths do. I could never do any of the things I read about, I have a hard enough time killing bugs that make it in the house, lol. I find it an interesting subject to delve in to though. I wonder about what goes on in their heads as they go along. I wonder about what goes on in their heads afterward. I'm just curious and at one point I thought about getting in to criminal psychology as a career. I dropped that idea though because while I enjoy the books and enjoy watching documentaries on them, I don't think I could honestly handle sitting and analyzing a killer. I'm not sure how I would react but I just figured it wouldn't be a wise career for me despite my interest. I also don't find it to be that strange of an interest to have honestly. Seriously. There are much stranger things I could be in to. =)

Happy Wednesday!

WOW I LOVE reading Criminal books! At one point, I did study criminal psychology! I ended up leaving college because I was pregnant with our oldest and was too sick to continue school!

Love reading your posts!!

In regards to #2, I'd have to say that I'd be surprised if someone else snapped before me, and got the jump...

I mean, if you're going to make it a contest, at least let me know ahead of time! (kidding)

Great answers!

Happy belated Bday 2 your Dad. Me too on your #1 & #4. Totally feel the same way.

And #6? I have my trigger phrase too. Wont tell anyone 'cept for the 1 who already knows. :)

I agree with you. Just because someone has studied criminology & forensics doesn't mean they're going to commit acts they've studied.

Sometimes people just have limited understandings, I think.

And congrats 2 your Stars! ;D

I didn't know what most of those things were on 1 were either.

Just because you know stuff about crime and serial killers doesn't make you one or susceptible to being one. I had to study all of that stuff for one of my degrees.

I think your friends friend has problems and needs to get that cob out of her ass.

I saw a show today on Discovery ID that did a scientific study with people with schizophrenia.. over the years, their brain actually deteriorates and once it hits the frontal lobe, they lose all of their reasoning and knowing right from wrong and such. They claim many SK'ers were schizophrenic. It was interesting.

TSO, yeah!! Rock on!

I find criminal psychology interesting too, but I'm too easily grossed out to have ever really wanted to get into it. I just can't stand imagining the hell the victims went through :(

Yeah your answer to #3 is good because that's one thing that bothers me. I don't like how people are rude and pushy, especially when they're driving during this time of the year.
